Peter Lynn Skim

To make your first steps into kitesurfing fun, easy and challenging Peter Lynn built the Skim. The Skim is a 3-line trainerkite that can easily be relaunched even from the water making it perfectly suitable for those body dragging sessions to get used to controlling a kite while in the water.

SWELL V3
Wave / Freeride

Whatever suits your mood or the conditions best, the Swell gives you the freedom to ride, all day, every day. Pull the bar and feel the kite come to life instantly. Designed for surf, the Swell is Peter Lynn’s answer to riders who like to be versatile. By giving the kite a perfect blend of drift, great turning, low end power, speed, easy re-launch and upwind drive we combined excellent freeride characteristics with wave specific traits to make sure every session is fun whether there’s epic sets rolling in or not.

Based at the north end of Walney Island, this centre is located in one of the windiest and most scenic places in the UK. Looking out from the school you will see the Isle of Man out to the west and the Lake District to the north - a stunning kitesurfing destination. Chris, the principal of the school, is a senior approved kitesurfing instructor with over 20 years of flying kites. He offers individual and 2:1 tuition in kitesurfing. They have recently been awarded an Adventure Activities License through the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority/Health & Safety Executive (AALA/HSE) which allows them to teach children of all ages kitesurfing and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). This is a huge step in their mission to give all age groups a chance to learn what these amazing sports have to offer.
