


Three-Hour Course: Introduction to Wing Surfing on SUP
For those looking to try a new activity on the water, our three-hour course offers a calm and straightforward introduction to Wing Surfing on a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP). This sport combines elements of windsurfing, surfing, and kitesurfing, providing a unique way to engage with the water.
During the course, you will gain a basic understanding of wing surfing. This involves navigating a SUP board using a handheld inflatable sail, or 'wing', which uses the wind for propulsion.

Our three-hour introductory course on Wing Surfing on SUP is an opportunity to expand your water sport skills in a supportive environment. The required equipment for the course will be supplied, and our instructors will be present to guide you through the learning process.
A £500 security deposit will be taken on the day and returned after the session.

Wing Surfing on SUP, or Stand-Up Paddleboarding, involves using a handheld inflatable wing to harness the power of the wind and propel you across the water on a SUP board. It's a hybrid of windsurfing, surfing, and kitesurfing.
You'll learn about the equipment used in wing surfing, basic techniques for controlling the wing and the SUP board, turning techniques, and essential safety procedures, including self-rescue methods.
No, this course is designed for beginners and doesn't require any prior experience. However, a basic level of fitness will be beneficial.
We will adapt the course contents if you do have some experience to keep you learning at pace.
All necessary equipment for wing surfing, including the SUP board and the wing, will be provided. You should bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen (ever optimistic), and a bottle of water.
Wind is a critical factor in wing surfing. If the wind conditions are not suitable, we will need to reschedule the course to a more appropriate day.
As with all water sports, being able to swim is a necessary safety requirement for participation in the course.
Please wear comfortable swimwear that allows for easy movement. We will provide wetsuits.
