🗺️ What to Expect

After collecting your bike and checking the fit, you can head straight out towards City Hall Park, a natural starting point for routes through Lower Manhattan. From here, clearly marked cycle lanes guide you towards the approach to the Brooklyn Bridge, where designated bike lanes allow you to cross safely above the East River.

Once across the bridge, you’ll arrive in Brooklyn Bridge Park, a waterfront space with uninterrupted views back towards the Manhattan skyline. Many riders stop here to explore the paths, take photos, or visit nearby highlights such as Jane’s Carousel and the streets of Brooklyn Heights.

With a longer hire, you can return over the bridge or loop further through Brooklyn before heading back towards Lower Manhattan to explore areas like the South Street Seaport. A full-day rental allows you to break the ride into sections, combine neighbourhoods, and stop regularly without keeping an eye on the clock.

📍 Location

Lower Manhattan is one of the most cycle-connected parts of the city, with protected bike lanes linking parks, bridges and waterfront paths. Starting close to City Hall places you within easy reach of major routes without needing to navigate dense traffic immediately.

The proximity of the Brooklyn Bridge makes it possible to move between boroughs quickly, giving you access to contrasting neighbourhoods and viewpoints within a single ride. Cycling here provides a perspective of the city that’s difficult to get on foot or by taxi.

✅ Prerequisites

All riders must be able to ride a bicycle independently unless using an approved child attachment. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

Tag-a-longs and double trailers for toddlers are available on request at an additional cost. One government-issued photo ID is required and will be held as a deposit for the duration of the rental, with a credit card kept on file for bike security.

⭐ Why Choose Us

This rental is built around access and practicality. With bikes, safety equipment and route guidance included, you can focus on riding rather than planning logistics or transport connections.

The route across the Brooklyn Bridge and into Brooklyn Bridge Park is one of New York City’s most rewarding rides, combining protected lanes with waterfront scenery. Flexible hire options make it easy to fit a ride into your day, whether you’re cycling for a couple of hours or exploring across boroughs.
