The tea you will sample is Dornoch Tea, grown and produced on Sydera Croft. It’s a unique Highland product that reflects the soil, climate, and care that goes into cultivation, giving you a taste that is both local and distinctive.

Enjoying it on the croft connects the drink to its origins, offering a more personal experience than you’d find with imported teas. It’s about both the flavour and the story behind the tea.

Yes, all necessary equipment is provided as part of the package, including bows, arrows, and any required safety gear. Everything is maintained to a high standard to ensure both safety and ease of use.

Yes, even if you are not a regular tea drinker, the tasting is more about experiencing a local product in its place of origin. It’s as much a cultural experience as it is a culinary one, giving you a new perspective on Highland produce.

Some guests find the tasting changes their view of tea altogether. If preferred, it’s possible to simply enjoy the setting and learn about the production process without drinking.

For the archery, comfortable outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes are recommended. The activity takes place outside, so it’s sensible to dress for the conditions, whether that means a waterproof jacket or layers for cooler weather.

For the tea tasting, casual attire is fine, as it is a relaxed and informal part of the experience. Being comfortable will help you enjoy both the active and restful aspects of the package.
