Take aim and enjoy an hour of friendly competition in a safe and structured archery session. Perfect for newcomers, this session teaches basic skills while letting you practise through fun games in a shared lane with up to six participants.
The session begins with a brief safety induction, ensuring everyone understands how to handle the equipment correctly. Once comfortable, you'll learn the fundamentals of archery, including stance, aim, and release.
After mastering the basics, the session transitions into interactive games designed to reinforce technique while keeping the atmosphere light and enjoyable. Participants can compete with each other or work on personal improvement, all under close supervision. The shared lane setting allows a mix of participants, adding a social element to the experience.
The venue is situated on Attleborough Fields Industrial Estate in Nuneaton, offering easy access by car and plenty of on-site parking. Its central location makes it convenient for both local residents and visitors from surrounding areas.
Inside, the facility features three spacious lanes and a mezzanine floor for practice or private functions. The controlled indoor environment ensures year-round sessions unaffected by weather, while safety measures and trained staff maintain a secure and structured experience for all participants.
No prior experience is required. Participants should wear practical clothing and closed-toe shoes, and hair should be tied back for safety.
All participants must follow safety instructions, and late arrivals will not be unable to join the session.
The Nuneaton venue opened in August 2024 and has been designed to cater to both casual visitors and serious enthusiasts. With three lanes, a growing league programme, and plans for additional practice space on the mezzanine, the facility provides a flexible and professional environment.
The team prioritises safety, learning, and enjoyment, creating a social and inclusive atmosphere. Whether attending a taster session, participating in a league, or booking for a private function, visitors can expect structured guidance, quality equipment, and a welcoming environment for all ages and abilities.
Children aged 11+ when accompanied by an adult. This allows younger participants to enjoy archery safely while ensuring an adult supervises them at all times.
Participants under 11 are not permitted, and the adult must remain responsible throughout the session. The rules ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone in the shared lane.
No previous experience is required to attend this session. Beginners receive a full safety briefing and guidance on stance, aim, and arrow release before using the equipment.
The structured games and skill practice allow everyone to gradually improve while keeping the session enjoyable. Even first-time archers will feel confident handling the equipment under supervision.
Practical clothing and closed-toe shoes are essential for safety and comfort during the session. Loose items such as long scarves or jewellery should be avoided to prevent interference with equipment.
Long hair should be tied back, and participants should ensure sleeves or hoods do not restrict movement. Proper attire helps maintain safety and allows full participation in all activities.
Participants are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes before the session start time. This allows time to check in and complete the safety briefing, which is mandatory before using the bows and arrows.
Arriving late will prevent entry, as sessions run on a strict timetable to accommodate all bookings. Prompt arrival ensures the session can proceed smoothly and safely for everyone.
Private sessions are possible, subject to availability, providing a more personalised experience for groups. The mezzanine floor can also be hired for private functions or extra practice.
This option is ideal for team events, parties, or individuals wanting focused instruction. It allows participants to enjoy archery in a controlled setting without sharing the lane with other groups.
The session caters to both adults and children, making it ideal for family groups, friends, or mixed-age gatherings. The shared lanes encourage a friendly and inclusive environment.
All participants receive guidance and supervision regardless of experience or age. This ensures that beginners and younger attendees feel confident while practising safely.
The session runs for 1 hour, including the safety briefing, skill instruction, and guided games. This time frame is sufficient to learn basic techniques and enjoy practice in a structured way.
Participants can focus on personal improvement, compete in small games, or simply enjoy the experience at their own pace. The session is designed to balance learning with fun activities.
