Packrafting is a fantastic way to explore Scotland’s whitewater rivers, combining the agility of kayaking with the excitement of rafting. Whether you're looking for a fun introduction to paddling or want to take on more challenging rapids, this trip offers a great balance of adventure and learning. With expert guidance and top-quality equipment, you'll experience an unforgettable day on the water.
The trip begins with a full introduction to packrafting, including essential paddling techniques and safety instructions. You'll be kitted out with high-quality gear to keep you comfortable before heading onto the river. The half-day session offers a shorter but exciting paddle, focusing on navigating rapids and building confidence on moving water. The full-day option extends the experience, allowing more time to refine skills, tackle bigger rapids, and enjoy a break for lunch from a local deli.
Throughout the trip, you'll be guided by experienced instructors who will ensure you get the most out of your time on the water. You'll have plenty of chances to practice techniques, read the river, and challenge yourself in a fun and supportive environment. Photos from the trip are included, so you can relive the experience after the session.
Perthshire is home to some of Scotland’s best rivers for packrafting, offering a mix of gentle sections and exciting whitewater. The trip runs from Kenmore to Grandtully.
These locations provide a fantastic setting for both beginners and those with some experience, with plenty of rapids to navigate and stretches of calmer water to enjoy along the way.
Participants should be comfortable in water and have a reasonable level of fitness. No prior packrafting experience is needed, as full instruction will be provided at the start of the session.
If you have any medical conditions that could affect your participation, please let the team know in advance.
