Tubing and Wakeboarding near Yas Island, Abu Dhabi

You can book inflatable tubing, wakeboarding, water skiing or kneeboarding. For tubing, choose a sofa, flat-bed or donut inflatable depending on how sociable or splashy you want the ride.

Pick the sport and session length when you book. The captain drives the boat while you ride, and the team can talk you through the options at the marina if you are still deciding.

No. Beginners are welcome. The captain starts at a speed that suits you, and the team talks you through the grip, the start and how to let go of the rope before you enter the water.

If you already ride, say so at the briefing so the boat can run a little faster once you are up. Sessions still stay within what feels safe for the water that day.

Riders must be 16 or over. This session is not suitable for younger children, even as passengers on the inflatables.

Everyone on the water wears a life jacket and follows the briefing before the first ride. If anyone in your group is under 16, they will need to sit this one out.

Sessions are private for 1 to 6 guests. On a group booking, riders take turns while others wait on the boat, which is why a longer slot helps once you have more than two people.

The sofa tube itself is designed for up to four riders at once. Wakeboarding, skiing and kneeboarding are one rider at a time, so plan your duration around how many people want a turn.

You can book 30 minutes, 1 hour, 90 minutes or 2 hours. Longer slots give a group more time to rotate through rides without rushing the briefing.

Choose the length that matches your group size when you book. Two or three riders often fit a 30 or 60 minute slot; larger groups are better on 90 minutes or 2 hours.

The sofa tube is the most comfortable shared ride and suits friends or families riding together. The flat-bed is a steadier inflatable. The donut is quicker and splashier if you want more movement.

If you are unsure, start on the sofa or flat-bed and ask the team to switch if you want more speed later in the session. The captain will only change inflatables when it is safe to do so.

Meet at Al Bandar Marina, Al Raha Beach, Abu Dhabi. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your start time so there is room for the briefing and kit fitting.

Drivers should use UB Parking, take the lift to Marina Walk on the ground floor, and walk to the marina gate. The team meets you there and walks you to the boat.

Wear swimwear and bring a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and a change of clothes. Drinking water is useful in the heat, especially on the longer slots.

Changing rooms and showers are available at the marina after you come in. A waterproof pouch is handy if you want to keep a phone on the boat rather than in the water.

Yes. The boat, captain, life jackets and the board or inflatable for your booked sport are included. You do not need to bring your own kit unless you prefer a specific board and the team agrees on the day.

Listen to the briefing before you enter the water and keep hold of the handles until you are ready to stop. Signal the boat clearly when you want to come in.

Tow sports need suitable weather and water. If conditions are not right, the team will contact you to rebook or advise on the next step rather than running an unsafe session.

The riding area can also change on the day so the captain can keep the session in safer water. That is normal on windier afternoons around Yas Island.
