Take on a high ropes adventure in the woodland beside Lake Windermere, where 32 elevated obstacles lead to a 250m triple zip line finale. Balance, climb and traverse at heights of up to 15m, building confidence as the course unfolds through the trees.
Arrive 30 minutes before your session to check in and get prepared. An instructor will fit your harness, explain the safety system and make sure you are comfortable using the equipment.
Begin on the introductory trek to practise the equipment and learn the rhythm of the obstacles. Once you are ready, move up to the main route, weaving through 32 elements high in the woodland canopy.
Save some energy for the final 250m triple zip line, where you fly alongside two other participants. You finish close to the kit area, where an instructor removes your harness and the Lake District is ready to explore beyond the course.
The course is set in woodland close to Lake Windermere, with the Lake District countryside providing a striking backdrop. The mix of trees, gardens and nearby water makes the physical challenge feel rooted in the landscape.
Windermere is a natural base for a longer day outdoors, with lakeside walks and scenic viewpoints close by. The setting adds a sense of arrival and escape before you even step onto the first obstacle.
No previous high ropes experience is needed, but participants should be comfortable with heights and sustained active movement. This course is for ages 7 and over, with a maximum weight of 120kg.
Wear closed toe, flat trainers or boots and clothing that lets you move freely. Children aged 7 to 11 need one participating adult for every three children, while those aged 12 to 17 need a supervising adult on site.
The course combines a progressive introduction with a bigger challenge through 32 elevated elements. The parallel zip line finale gives groups a shared moment to finish the adventure together.
Clear guidance and professional equipment fitting help you start with confidence. The Lake District setting turns an active challenge into a memorable outdoor day surrounded by some of Cumbria's most recognisable scenery.

Allow two to three hours for the full treetop trek. Arrive 30 minutes before the session so there is time to check in, fit your harness and hear the safety briefing.
Completion time varies with the pace of the group and how long you take at each obstacle. The focus is on working through the course safely rather than rushing.
This course is suitable for ages 7 and over. Participants must weigh below 120kg and be comfortable with heights and active movement.
No previous high ropes experience is needed. You will first use the introductory trek to get familiar with the equipment and obstacles.
Children aged 7 to 11 need one participating adult aged 18 or over for every three children. The adult joins them on the course.
Participants aged 12 to 17 need a supervising adult aged 18 or over for every seven young people. That adult can supervise from the ground.
Wear comfortable clothing that suits the weather and allows full movement. Layers work well for an outdoor activity in the trees.
Closed toe, flat shoes such as trainers or boots are required. Open toe shoes, high heels, crocs and flip flops are not suitable.
The introductory trek is the first part of the experience. It gives you a chance to practise with your equipment and learn how the obstacles feel.
Complete it before moving onto the full course. This gradual start helps participants build confidence for the higher challenges.
The finale is a 250m zip line where three participants travel alongside one another. It is the final reward after completing the elevated obstacles.
Follow the instructor's guidance at the launch point and enjoy the shared finish. You land close to the kit area at the end of the course.
The main course reaches heights of up to 15m in the trees. It includes 32 obstacles that call for balance, focus and a willingness to try something new.
Move steadily and take time at each feature. If you need practical help, an instructor is available to provide guidance.
Gloves are recommended for this adventure but are not compulsory. You may bring your own pair if you prefer extra grip and comfort.
Make sure any gloves are practical for handling the safety equipment. Avoid loose accessories that could interfere with the course.
Dress for the conditions because the course is outdoors. The team will assess conditions on the day and share any operational updates if needed.
Bring suitable layers to stay comfortable before and after your session. Avoid clothing that could catch or restrict easy movement.
A separate Mini Trek is available for younger or less experienced adventurers who want a shorter high ropes challenge. It uses a lower route with 16 obstacles and two zip lines.
For this location, refer to Mini Trek PMT5BC. Choose that option if the full course feels like more than your group needs.
