At Sealife Marina the crew give you a short briefing, then you take the wheel and weave through the mangroves in Nichupté Lagoon. They stay close while you drive. No licence is required.
Next you snorkel at El Angel reef; fins, mask, and guidance are included. The group stays together in the water. When you are done, you return to the marina. Transport back to your hotel is not included.

Boats do not leave for Puerto Morelos on this trip. You stay in Cancún water, from the lagoon channels out to the reef. Pickup does not run from hotels outside the Cancún zone.
No prior boating or snorkelling experience needed. You should be confident at the helm of a small speedboat and happy getting in the sea at the reef. The crew are with you from the marina to the water.
Groups are capped at 15, so you are never far from help on the water. Infants ride on an adult's lap. Very young children may find the boat and reef a lot for a short session.
Small groups make this an easy half-morning on the water. We have looked after Cancún boat outings for more than fifteen years, and this trip focuses on you driving, the mangroves, and a reef snorkel in about two hours.
Zone pickup saves you a taxi to km 15.6. Snorkel kit is included, and the same crew see you from the briefing to the dock.

This first transfer is included; the return from the marina is not. If your hotel is outside the Cancún zone, make your own way to kilometre 15.6.

You reach El Angel reef, also known as Bonanza, and snorkel among the coral. Stay with the group and follow the crew. You do not need experience, and the equipment you need for the session is included. This is the water stop in the two-hour outing, then you head back to the marina.
The boats return to Sealife Marina at kilometre 15.6. Hotel drop-off is not included, so plan your own way back from the dock. Public transport runs nearby. Keep your phone on so we can reach you if the timing shifts.
