Seeing Tenerife's underwater world doesn't require any diving experience. With clear Atlantic waters, volcanic seabeds and abundant marine life, this guided snorkelling experience offers a fantastic way to explore beneath the surface while staying close to the water's top layer.
Your experience begins with a full briefing from your instructor, who will explain how to use the equipment, what marine life you may encounter and how the session will be conducted. Once fitted with a wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins, you'll be ready to enter the water and begin exploring.
The beach snorkelling experience takes place in a bay known for its rich marine life and volcanic underwater landscapes. The area is particularly famous for frequent encounters with ocean rays, while schools of fish, rocky reefs and underwater plants create plenty to observe throughout the session. A floating support board accompanies the group, allowing participants to rest whenever needed and making the experience suitable for a wide range of confidence levels.
For those choosing the boat option, the adventure begins with a short departure from Puerto Colón. After reaching one of the team's favourite snorkelling locations, you'll enter the water and explore an area known for its marine life and underwater volcanic formations. Swimming above reefs and rocky structures provides a different perspective of Tenerife's underwater environment and often offers opportunities to observe a variety of Atlantic species in their natural habitat.
Throughout the activity, your instructor remains nearby to provide guidance, assistance and local knowledge, helping you make the most of your time in the water.
Snorkelling takes place in the South of Tenerife, an area known for its mild climate, clear water and diverse marine ecosystems. The coastline combines sheltered bays, volcanic reefs and rocky formations that create ideal conditions for observing underwater life.
Beach sessions take place in a bay that is particularly popular for marine encounters, while boat excursions depart from Puerto Colón and visit carefully selected snorkelling sites.
