You'll sharpen rusty skills on a focused scuba refresh dive from Cabo de Palos with instructor supervision, ideal before holiday fun diving or continuing education on deeper local walls and boat routes.
Refresher briefings at our base revisit kit assembly, buddy checks, weighting, and core skills in shallow water before a supervised dive on a straightforward Cabo de Palos site chosen for calm entry and clear training depth.
Shallow segments may precede the main dive when you prefer extra repetition on mask clear, buoyancy, and emergency drills. Your instructor coaches corrections in real time, then leads a relaxed reef route where you practise neutral buoyancy among posidonia and rocky outcrops.
Quick access sites near the headland keep travel short so most of your half-day is spent in water rather than transit, whether we use shore entries or a brief harbour run for the day's line.
Confidence builds when you repeat skills in the same Mediterranean environment you plan to fun dive afterward. We meet at Paseo Dimas Ortega 18 for paperwork, kit issue or check, and post-dive rinse before you head to lunch in the village.
Open Water or higher certification is expected, even if your logbook has a gap since your last dive. Bring your certification card and tell us how long you have been dry so we allocate enough shallow water time.
Ideal for divers who feel practical skills need a tune-up without a full multi-hour theory programme. Medical fitness for diving remains your responsibility, and we ask standard pre-dive questions before splash.
Personal attention from working instructors means skills are corrected before you join boat or shore fun dives around Murcia with our guided day team.
Tune-up sessions fit travel schedules when you have an afternoon free before a dive holiday week, with tanks, weights, and supervision arranged so you only focus on getting comfortable in the water again.
Short briefing covers your recent experience, equipment check and skills to emphasise during the tune-up. The instructor adapts the plan to your concerns.
Questions are welcome before entering the water.
Practise buoyancy, mask clearing and regulator skills in shallow water until movements look smooth. Repetition is encouraged without judgement.
Only then do you head to the open water portion.
Enjoy a relaxed guided dive on a suitable local site while the instructor monitors comfort and technique. After surfacing you debrief and discuss next steps for fun diving.
Log the dive if you keep a logbook.
A refresh starts with kit, weighting, and shallow skill coaching before a supervised dive, rather than assuming you are already current.
Fun dives expect recently practised skills without that extra review block. This half-day is for rust: mask work, regulator recovery, and a calm reef profile before you join boat or shore days later in the week. The tune-up stays conservative so you rebuild comfort before deeper sites.
Plan around three to four hours including briefing, shallow practice, the supervised dive, and kit rinse.
Extra confined time extends the session if you want more mask and buoyancy reps before the reef line. We still aim to finish in time for lunch in the village after you return equipment at Paseo Dimas Ortega 18. The tune-up stays conservative so you rebuild comfort before deeper sites.
Open Water or higher is expected, even if your logbook has a gap since your last dive.
Depth limits follow your existing certification, and we stay conservative after time away. Bring your card and say how long you have been dry so we allocate enough shallow time before the supervised dive. The tune-up stays conservative so you rebuild comfort before deeper sites.
Tanks and weights are arranged for the refresh dive. Full kit hire is available if you travel without your own set.
A computer can be added if you do not carry one. Tell us at booking what you need so we stage hire items before the briefing rather than sorting kit on the harbour at the last minute. The tune-up stays conservative so you rebuild comfort before deeper sites.
Yes. Pairs who have been dry often book the same refresh so they rebuild skills together before holiday fun dives.
Private refresh is available on request when you want more time on mask work without a larger group. We still keep the profile conservative and the instructor close through shallow practice and the reef dive. The tune-up stays conservative so you rebuild comfort before deeper sites.
Meet at Paseo Dimas Ortega 18 for paperwork, kit, and the skills briefing before we move to a calm entry.
Arrive early enough to talk through your gap since the last dive so we can plan shallow time. After the dive we rinse at the same harbour base, then you are free for the village or a later guided day. The tune-up stays conservative so you rebuild comfort before deeper sites.
Typical work includes kit assembly, weighting, mask clear, regulator recovery, buoyancy, and a conservative supervised dive.
Tell us what worries you most at booking so extra reps go there, whether that is ears, buoyancy, or emergency drills. The instructor corrects in the water before you join deeper walls or boat routes later in the trip. The tune-up stays conservative so you rebuild comfort before deeper sites.
Many guests use this morning as a tune-up, then join a guided fun dive once skills feel steady.
Conservative site choice is wise the same day, especially if you have been dry for months. Your instructor will say when a deeper local wall or boat run makes sense rather than stacking challenge on fresh rust. The tune-up stays conservative so you rebuild comfort before deeper sites.
This is a practical in-water tune-up plus a supervised dive, without the fuller PADI ReActivate knowledge programme.
Choose ReActivate if you want an updated knowledge review and a formal refresh on your record. Choose this session if you mainly want kit, buoyancy, and a calm reef dive before holiday diving on this coast. The tune-up stays conservative so you rebuild comfort before deeper sites.
We ask standard pre-dive questions before splash, and medical fitness for diving remains yours to confirm.
Mention ear issues, recent illness, or a long gap at the briefing so we can keep the first descent shallow and unrushed. If anything in your history needs a doctor sign-off, sort that before the water day rather than at the harbour.
About the centre
Cabo de Palos
You'll dive on one of the most celebrated stretches of the Spanish Mediterranean, where the Cabo de Palos headland meets clear open water and protected seagrass meadows. Our team runs relaxed guided days, PADI training, and refresher sessions from a harbour-side base, with small groups and patient coaching whether you're blowing bubbles for the first time or logging another fun dive.
From shore entries and daily boat dives to specialty courses and seasonal dive trips, we keep the day well organised so you spend more time underwater. Equipment hire, briefings, and local site knowledge are part of how we work, and we're happy to help you plan the right experience for your certification level and the conditions on the day.
