A relaxed sightseeing cruise on the Motława pairs waterfront views with a fresh local craft beer from Brovarnia Gdańsk. You'll board at Marina Gdańsk in central Gdańsk, following a scenic route past the medieval crane, Ołowianka Island, and the historic shipyard while your skipper handles the boat.
Boarding at the marina pontoon is straightforward: we hand you your included Brovarnia craft beer and set off along the Motława. The route highlights waterfront architecture and industrial heritage from a calm water-level perspective, with time to take photos and chat with your group at an easy pace.
The medieval harbour crane, red-brick shipyard quays, and lively Old Town riverfront appear in turn as your skipper guides the boat through the city's most recognisable waterway. There is no rush to tick off sights: the session is built around sitting back, enjoying a local brew, and watching Gdańsk unfold from the river.
Cruising the Motława connects you quickly to Gdańsk's most recognisable landmarks, because the city grew around its river and port. From the marina you'll pass close to the medieval crane, museum ships on Ołowianka Island, and the brick quays of the former shipyard. Beer from Brovarnia Gdańsk ties the experience to a brewery rooted in the same waterfront neighbourhood.
The river also links the Old Town promenade with newer marina developments, giving you a continuous view of how trade, shipbuilding, and leisure share the same water. It's an easy add-on to a day exploring cobbled streets and museums on land.
This cruise is for guests aged 18 and over, as alcohol is served on board. At least two people are required, which suits pairs and small groups of friends.
No boating experience is needed, as your skipper operates the boat throughout. Arrive at the marina in good time so boarding is smooth and the cruise can begin promptly.
Classic Gdańsk river views meet a genuine local beer from a respected city brewery on this cruise. The group size stays small, the pace is unhurried, and the route is chosen for photogenic angles of cranes, granaries, and Old Town facades.
Friends can enjoy the waterfront together without the formality of a large tour. You'll taste something brewed in Gdańsk while seeing the city from an angle you simply cannot get on foot.
Board at Marina Gdańsk and receive your included Brovarnia craft beer. Your skipper introduces the route along the Motława before setting off from the pontoon near the Old Town waterfront.
Pass close to Żuraw, Gdańsk's 15th-century medieval harbour crane and symbol of the city's maritime past. From the water you see the full scale of the structure that once powered the port.
Cruise along the historic shipyard waterfront with views of industrial cranes, red-brick buildings, and active quays. This stretch tells the story of Gdańsk as a working port as well as a visitor destination.
Glide through the heart of the Old Town riverfront for front-row views of restored facades, bridges, and lively quays. It is a relaxed finale to the cruise before returning to the marina.
