You'll spend a full day sailing from Cancún to Isla Mujeres on a catamaran. We can pick you up from your hotel and take you to the marina in the Hotel Zone, where you board at 10:00. There is time to snorkel and swim, lunch and drinks at a beach club, and around ninety minutes to explore the island on foot.
After pickup, meet the crew at the dock and board for the 10:00 departure. The sail across to Isla Mujeres is relaxed, with room to spread out on deck while the crew handle the boat. On the way you stop to snorkel and swim in the clear water; gear is included and the crew stay with the group.
Back on the island you eat and drink at a private beach club, then have about ninety minutes to walk the town and shops at your own pace. The boat returns to Playa Langosta in the Hotel Zone. The ride back to your hotel is not included, so arrange your own transport from the marina.
Playa Langosta in Cancún's Hotel Zone is where the boat leaves from, unless we bring you there after hotel pickup. The catamaran crosses the short stretch of sea to Isla Mujeres, a small island with a walkable centre and shallow water around the shore. Buses pass near the marina if you come on your own, and the dock is stroller friendly.
Isla Mujeres is close enough that the boat trip is part of the fun, not just a transfer. You stay on the island between the beach club and town before sailing home. The whole day stays on this route, not a run down the coast to other reefs.
No sailing or snorkelling background needed. You should be happy getting on and off a catamaran, spending hours on deck, and going in the water for a swim or snorkel. The crew are with you from check-in through the swim stop.
Infants travel on an adult's lap. For very young children, consider the length of the day and time in the water. A towel and dry clothes help after the snorkel stop.
We have been running Cancún days like this for more than fifteen years. The plan is straightforward: morning pickup, a 10:00 sail, swimming, food at the club, and time ashore without packing in extra inland stops.
Your crew stay on board all day, snorkel gear is included, and you still get around ninety minutes on Isla Mujeres before the return sail to Playa Langosta.
We collect you from your hotel in the morning and take you one way to the marina in Cancún's Hotel Zone. Check in at the dock, meet the crew, and get ready to board the catamaran at 10:00. Keep your swimwear handy so you can change if you need to before we leave. This first transfer is included; the return from the marina later is not.
You'll cruise across the Caribbean on a wind-powered catamaran with the crew on board. Settle on deck, take in the water, and enjoy the crossing towards the island. The sail is unhurried, so you have time to find a spot in the sun or the shade. Stay with the group and follow the crew as we leave the Hotel Zone behind.
There is time in the water to snorkel among colourful fish and swim in the clear Caribbean. You do not need experience; stay with the group and follow the crew. Take the stop at your own pace, whether you want a long look below the surface or a shorter swim. The equipment you need for the session is included.
You'll stop at a private beach club on Isla Mujeres for food and drinks. Take a break from the sun, eat, and cool off before your time in town. This is the sit-down pause in the middle of the day, so use it to rest and refill. When the crew call you back, you'll be ready for the shops and the walk around the island.
You have about one hour and thirty minutes to explore Isla Mujeres on your own after the beach club. Wander the shops, walk the streets, and take the island at walking pace. This stretch is self-guided, so agree a meet-back time with the crew before you set off. Bring a little cash if you want something from the town that is not part of the beach club stop.
The catamaran carries you back across the Caribbean to the Hotel Zone marina. Find a spot on deck and enjoy the return crossing with the crew still on board. Hotel drop-off is not included, so plan your own way back from Playa Langosta once you step off. Public transport runs nearby if you need it from the marina.
You'll be with us for about seven hours, covering the crossings, time in the water, the beach club, and around ninety minutes on Isla Mujeres. That includes pickup to the marina, the sail out, the swim stop, and the return to Playa Langosta.
Exact timing can shift a little with the sea and how the marina is running that morning. Treat the seven hours as the shape of the day rather than a minute-by-minute clock, and leave a little slack at the end if you need to get back to your hotel yourself.
Yes. We collect you from your hotel and take you one way to the marina in Cancún's Hotel Zone, so you do not need to arrange that first transfer yourself. Give us your hotel and a contact phone number so we can set the time.
We do not return you to your hotel after the sail. Plan your own way back from Playa Langosta, or meet us there yourself if you prefer to skip pickup and board at 10:00.
You board the catamaran at 10:00 at the Hotel Zone marina, after check-in at the dock. Stay with the group once you arrive so you do not miss the departure.
Pickup from your hotel is earlier so you have time to reach the marina and get settled. We'll send the collection time once we have your hotel and phone number.
Yes. There is time to snorkel among the fish and to swim in the clear water around the crossing and the island. The equipment you need for the session is included.
You do not need experience. You should be comfortable in the sea, and the crew stay with you on the water so you can take the stop at your own pace.
Food and drinks are included at a private beach club on Isla Mujeres, so you can eat and cool off before your time in town. That stop sits in the middle of the day after the sail and the swim.
Personal shopping in town is not included. Bring a little cash if you want souvenirs or extras beyond what the beach club serves.
You'll have about one hour and thirty minutes to explore the island at your own pace after the beach club. This stretch is self-guided, so you choose whether to walk the streets or stay closer to the shops.
That is enough time for the shops and a walk through town before we sail back towards Cancún. Agree a meet-back time with the crew before you set off, and stay close enough to reach the boat when they call you.
No. This is a shared catamaran day with other guests on board, in groups of up to 30. You will share the deck, the swim stop, and the beach club with the rest of the group.
The crew look after everyone on the crossing and at the swim stop. You still have guidance on the water even though the boat is not yours alone.
Yes. The day is set up for families, and infants sit on an adult's lap. There is no separate child-only departure, and everyone travels on the same catamaran.
Think about the full seven hours on the water and the snorkel stop before you bring very young children. The marina is stroller accessible if you need that for getting on and off at Playa Langosta.
Meet us at Playa Langosta, Cancún 77500, in time to board at 10:00. Public transport runs nearby, and the marina is stroller accessible if you are arriving with a pram.
If you would rather be collected, give us your hotel and a contact phone number and we'll come to you one way. Either way, be ready to check in before the 10:00 departure so you do not miss the boat.
The crossing needs a workable sea. If weather or numbers mean we cannot go, we will contact you and talk you through the next step.
Days on the water depend on the conditions. Check the forecast the day before you sail, and keep your phone on so we can reach you if the morning changes.
