Bikes can be hired from three well-placed shops in northern Mallorca.
Riders must be confident and competent on the type of bike they choose. Road bikes require prior experience with drop bars and road cycling conditions. All riders must wear helmets, and optional accessories like clip-in pedals can be fitted upon request. Children must be supervised at all times when using junior bikes or trailers.

You’re welcome to bring your own pedals, especially if you prefer riding with your own cleat system. The bikes can be fitted with most types including SPD, SPD-SL, and Look, and staff can assist with fitting them on collection.
If you don’t bring pedals, the hire includes a standard flat set as default, and a range of clip-in options may also be available if requested in advance. Riders bringing clip-in shoes should ensure their cleats are in good condition and compatible with their chosen pedal setup.
In most cases, you can change the pick-up location provided there is availability at the requested shop. It’s best to get in touch as soon as possible with your booking reference to make changes to the location.
All three locations—Puerto Pollença, Puerto Alcudia and Can Picafort—are equipped to handle all hire models, but bike sizes may vary by shop. For the smoothest experience, confirm any changes well before the hire date.
Yes, each bike is thoroughly inspected and serviced before going out. This includes checking brakes, gears, tyre pressures, and overall frame condition. Electronic shifting systems are also tested and charged to ensure full functionality.
The bikes are maintained to a high standard to ensure safety, performance and comfort. If you notice any issue during your hire, each location can offer support or swaps if needed.
A helmet is included free with all bike hires and must be worn at all times while riding. This is for your safety and in line with local laws and best practices in Mallorca.
If you prefer to bring your own helmet, that’s absolutely fine. Just make sure it fits properly and is in good condition. Helmets are checked and sanitised between hires.
You’re free to ride throughout Mallorca’s public roads and cycle routes, including popular climbs and coastal paths. However, bikes should not be taken off-road unless specifically indicated (junior MTB models are suitable for light trails).
Damage caused by misuse—such as riding on rough terrain with a road bike—may not be covered under standard hire agreements. Always choose routes suitable for the type of bike you’ve selected.
Each hire includes a basic repair kit with tyre levers, a spare inner tube and a mini pump. If you're comfortable changing a tube, you should be able to fix most minor issues quickly yourself.
For more serious mechanical problems, you can contact the hire centre directly. Support may be available over the phone or in person, depending on your location and the nature of the issue.
Yes, bikes are available for as little as one day. This is a great option if you're planning a single-day tour or just want to test the roads around your accommodation.
One-day hires still include all the standard equipment and are subject to the same terms as longer rentals. Just make sure to allow time for fitting and adjustments when collecting your bike.
