Returning to kitesurfing after some time away or looking to improve specific skills? This refresher and refinement course is designed to help riders regain confidence, strengthen technique and continue progressing towards their goals. Whether you want to revisit the fundamentals or focus on more advanced riding skills, the course can be tailored to your individual needs.
This course is aimed at riders who already have some kitesurfing experience but would benefit from additional coaching to rebuild confidence or improve specific areas of their riding. Before entering the water, your instructor will discuss your current ability level, previous experience and personal goals to create a lesson plan focused on your progression.
Depending on your needs, training may take place in either shallow or deeper water environments. Sessions can revisit key foundations such as kite control, body dragging and water starts, or move directly into more advanced areas including riding upwind, improving board technique and developing better efficiency on the water. The flexible format allows each lesson to be adapted to your current skill level.
For riders looking to progress further, coaching can also include introductions to basic tricks and strapless riding techniques. Throughout the session, you'll receive personalised feedback designed to help correct bad habits, improve consistency and build confidence. Whether you've been away from the sport for months or simply want expert guidance to accelerate your development, this course provides a focused and supportive learning experience.
Pollensa Bay offers excellent conditions for progression and skill development thanks to its combination of shallow areas, open water and generally reliable wind conditions. These features make it suitable for both revisiting core skills and working towards more advanced riding goals.
Students benefit from access to premium facilities including hot showers, changing rooms, exclusive student areas, a swimming pool and a sea-facing bar and restaurant. The surrounding coastline also provides plenty of opportunities to relax between sessions and enjoy northern Mallorca.
This course is not intended for complete beginners. Participants should have previous kitesurfing experience and be familiar with basic kite handling principles, even if those skills feel rusty after time away from the sport.
Sunglasses, sunscreen, a towel and drinks are recommended. The course is highly adaptable, making it suitable for riders returning after a break as well as those actively looking to improve their existing abilities.
Every rider progresses differently, which is why this course is built around individual goals rather than a fixed syllabus. Whether you're rebuilding confidence, refining technique or learning new skills, coaching is tailored specifically to your needs.
Qualified instructors draw on extensive experience across kitesurfing and other watersports disciplines to provide effective guidance in a supportive environment. Combined with quality equipment, excellent facilities and flexible lesson options, students receive the tools they need to continue progressing with confidence.
