Our River Tay rafting trip offers a delightful blend of picturesque landscapes interspersed with the rush of Grade 2 rapids. As you approach the end, gear up for the thrilling Grandtully rapids, a Grade 3 challenge that serves as Scotland's national site for white-water slalom competitions.
Your journey starts with a serene paddle, allowing you to soak in the surrounding beauty. As you progress, test your mettle against a series of Grade 2 rapids, culminating in the final descent of the Grandtully rapids.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the activity to get signed in.
Please wear a swimsuit for under your wetsuit, old trainers that will get wet, and bring a towel for changing. We recommend a fleece, gloves and hat in cold weather. Don't forget to bring some warm clothes for after the trip.
Generally, all activities run in all weather conditions but if for any reason the activity cannot run due to adverse weather conditions we will be in contact to either rearrange or offer an alternative.
White water rafting is an adventurous water sport where participants navigate a river's rapids using an inflatable raft.
Rapids are graded from 1 to 6, with 1 being the easiest and 6 being the most challenging. The higher the grade, the tougher the rapid.
The minimum age for our River Tay rafting is 8 years. During high water levels, it's 10 years.
