Drive through the mountains and rivers of Costa Blanca on a full 3-hour guided quad adventure. This tour combines off-road trails, on-road stretches, and a scenic one-hour stop in Guadalest to explore the famous castle. Perfect for those wanting a longer, immersive outdoor experience in the Alicante region.
The route begins in the Toledo Mountains, where off-road trails wind through rugged terrain and alongside the Altea River. After a safety briefing, you’ll take control of a fully automatic two-seater quad and follow your guide through mountain paths and riverside tracks. The quads are easy to operate, making this tour suitable for beginners while still offering excitement for experienced drivers.
Midway through the tour, you’ll make a one-hour stop in Guadalest to admire the historic castle and the sweeping views of its reservoir. This break gives time for photos, exploration, and soaking in the scenery before continuing the ride. Your guide will provide insight into the landscape, points of interest, and local history along the way.
The second half of the tour takes you through a combination of on-road stretches and more challenging off-road paths, returning to the meeting point with memories and adventure captured in professional photos and videos. This is an engaging way to experience Costa Blanca’s natural beauty, culture, and outdoor thrills all in one session.
The tour departs from Alacant, a short distance from Altea and other Costa Blanca hotspots like Benidorm and Calpe. The route travels through the Xirles Mountains, known for their off-road trails and river valleys, providing both scenic views and a varied riding experience. Guadalest Castle and its reservoir are highlights of the region, combining historic charm with natural beauty.
Surrounding areas offer plenty to do once the tour finishes, from visiting local markets to enjoying nearby beaches or dining at restaurants overlooking the reservoir. The combination of accessible roads, mountain trails, and historic sites makes this tour a full, well-rounded Costa Blanca adventure.
Drivers must be at least 18 and hold a valid Category B driving licence (physical copy required). Passengers must be 7 or older. The quads are automatic, so even first-time riders can manage comfortably, and the guide will explain all controls before departure.
Arriving 20 minutes early is essential to complete the civil responsibility form and review the safety guidelines. Participants should be in general good health and able to engage in outdoor activity. The guide can adjust the route or pace to suit group experience levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride for all.
The team provides a high-quality experience, with small group sizes allowing for personal attention and guidance. Each tour is led by a knowledgeable guide who knows the trails and terrain well, ensuring a safe and exciting adventure while highlighting key scenic and historic points.

Not at all — these tours are open to all levels. If you’re new to quads, your instructor will go through everything you need to know, including controls, handling, and what to expect from different terrains. The routes are carefully chosen to match the group’s ability, and each rider’s confidence is taken into account throughout the tour.
More experienced drivers can still enjoy a challenge, with rougher sections and steeper climbs available on certain tours. For those with advanced off-road skills, there’s also a dedicated route that’s tailored to skilled drivers seeking more technical terrain. Every tour is guided, meaning you’ll always be supported and supervised along the way.
All equipment such as the helmet and quad are provided, and the guide will give you everything you need for a safe ride. However, it’s important to come prepared for the weather and terrain. Wear comfortable sportswear, closed sports shoes, and bring a jacket if the weather is cooler. In summer, sun cream and sunglasses are essential to protect yourself from the sun.
You must also bring a valid physical driving licence if you’re the driver, as digital copies are not accepted. Passengers don’t need any documents, but it’s a good idea for everyone to bring a bottle of water and a small backpack if you want to carry personal items during the ride.
Yes, passengers as young as seven years old are welcome to join this experience, as long as they ride with an adult driver who holds a valid car driving licence. Children should wear suitable clothing for outdoor activity and will be provided with helmets just like adults. The instructor will make sure younger passengers feel comfortable before the ride begins, and the pace will always be adapted to the group’s experience and confidence levels.
Yes, your guide will capture photos and videos during the tour and share them with you afterwards at no extra cost. The photos and videos are usually shared digitally after the experience, making them easy to download and share. This is part of the service included with every tour, ensuring you leave with a full record of your experience and the scenery you explored.
