Head beyond the coastline and experience the quieter landscapes of rural Andalucía on a guided quad bike tour through the hills surrounding Mijas. Combining scenic mountain routes with predominantly off-road riding, this experience is ideal for anyone looking to explore authentic countryside while enjoying an exciting day outdoors.
After checking in, you'll meet your guide and begin with a full safety briefing and quad handling session. Whether you've ridden a quad before or are trying one for the first time, you'll be shown how to operate the vehicle safely before setting off. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled departure to allow enough time for preparation.
Once underway, the route quickly leaves the busier areas behind as you make your way into the hills above the Costa del Sol. Around 80% of the journey takes place off-road, following countryside tracks through rural Andalucía, while the remaining sections use quiet roads to link different parts of the route. Along the way you'll enjoy panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Mijas mountains, valleys and the surrounding coastline stretching towards Fuengirola and Marbella. There are several opportunities to stop for photographs and appreciate the scenery before continuing deeper into the countryside and eventually returning to the starting point.
Situated in the hills above the Costa del Sol, Mijas provides direct access to some of the most scenic riding routes in Málaga Province. Away from the beaches and resort towns, the surrounding countryside offers a network of rural tracks, mountain viewpoints and traditional Andalusian landscapes that are perfect for exploring by quad bike.
This part of southern Spain is known for its varied terrain, with valleys, rolling hills and elevated viewpoints creating an ever-changing backdrop throughout the tour. It's an excellent way to experience an area that many visitors miss during a typical holiday.

For more than a decade, we've been helping visitors discover a different side of Málaga Province through carefully planned guided quad bike tours. Every route has been selected to showcase the countryside, mountain scenery and quieter landscapes that exist beyond the well-known coastal resorts.
Keeping our groups small allows every ride to remain relaxed and enjoyable, giving guides time to ensure everyone feels comfortable while sharing local knowledge along the way. The emphasis is always on the experience, the scenery and creating lasting memories rather than simply covering distance.
Yes. Although this route spends more time on off-road tracks, beginners are very welcome. Before leaving the meeting point, every participant receives a full safety briefing and practical instruction to help build confidence on the quad.
Your guide sets a comfortable pace throughout the experience, ensuring everyone can enjoy the route regardless of previous riding experience. Support is available throughout the tour whenever required.
Approximately 80% of the tour takes place on off-road tracks, with the remaining 20% using quiet roads to connect different sections of the countryside route.
This balance allows you to experience a variety of terrain while exploring areas that are inaccessible to most standard vehicles, making the ride both enjoyable and varied.

The route passes through the countryside surrounding Mijas, climbing into the hills where you'll enjoy wide-ranging views across valleys, mountains and the Costa del Sol coastline.
On clear days you can see towards Fuengirola and Marbella from several viewpoints, with regular stops allowing you to appreciate the scenery and take photographs.
Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities is recommended, as the off-road sections can become dusty. Covered shoes are required, and flip-flops cannot be worn during the tour.
Sunglasses, sunscreen and a bottle of water are also recommended, particularly during the warmer months when temperatures can be high.
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your booked departure time. This allows enough time to complete check-in, receive your safety briefing and become familiar with your quad before the tour starts.
Arriving early also helps ensure the group departs on time and gives you the opportunity to ask any questions before setting off.
