This is the most powerful quad option on the adventure route, offering stronger acceleration and a more planted feel on uneven ground. With a private setup and a 625cc quad, it suits riders who want a more focused, riding-led session with flexibility on pacing and stops.
The session begins with a detailed safety briefing covering quad controls, braking, throttle management, and riding rules specific to the adventure route. Helmets and safety equipment are provided, followed by time to familiarise yourself with the 625cc quad, which has noticeably more torque and weight than smaller models. The guide confirms readiness before setting off.
Once underway, the adventure route prioritises continuous riding across more engaging terrain. Expect tighter turns, rougher surfaces, and steeper sections compared to the discovery rides. The larger engine delivers consistent power on climbs and through uneven ground, while the exclusive format allows the guide to adjust pacing to suit your group rather than a mixed-ability set-up.
Short, purposeful stops are included at selected viewpoints such as the coloured earth formations and waterfall areas. These pauses allow time for photos and brief explanations before continuing the loop back to the starting point, keeping the focus firmly on riding time rather than sightseeing.
The ride takes place inside a large nature park in the south of Mauritius, known for its volcanic terrain, forested sections, and managed off-road trail network. The layout allows quad routes to reach quieter, more rugged areas while still accessing key landmarks.
Situated inland, the setting offers a different side of the island, with river crossings, woodland tracks, and open volcanic ground. Parking and basic visitor facilities are available on site, making access straightforward for self-drive visitors.
Previous quad biking experience is not mandatory, but riders should be confident controlling a powerful motorised vehicle on uneven terrain. This option is best suited to those comfortable with steering, braking, and throttle control.
Closed-toe shoes are required, and clothing should be suitable for dust and mud. Riders must be able to follow instructions closely and maintain control throughout the session.
This is the most riding-focused quad option available, combining a more technical route with the added power of a 625cc quad. The exclusive format removes group pressure, allowing the session to be paced around your ability and preferences.
Experienced guides lead each ride with a strong emphasis on safety, terrain awareness, and smooth progression. Entrance to the nature park is included, keeping the experience streamlined from arrival to finish.
This option uses a 625cc quad and runs in an exclusive format, meaning the ride is private or limited to your group. This allows more flexibility with pacing and fewer interruptions.
The standard adventure ride is typically shared and uses smaller engine options.
The 625cc quad is heavier and more powerful than entry-level models, which gives it better stability on rough ground. It does require confident throttle and brake control.
A familiarisation period is included before the ride to ensure riders are comfortable.
Previous experience is helpful but not required. Riders should, however, feel confident operating a powerful motorised vehicle.
This option is not recommended for nervous first-time riders.
The route includes narrower trails, uneven volcanic ground, forest tracks, and steeper sections than the discovery rides.
It is designed to keep riders engaged throughout the session.
