Spend a half-day exploring Menorca’s clear waters with a private snorkelling experience designed for small groups. Your local guide ensures safety and comfort while revealing the hidden marine life of the island’s protected areas. Whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced snorkeller, this trip gives you a personal and memorable encounter with the Mediterranean.
You’ll meet your guide at the chosen departure point, receive a briefing on safety, the local marine environment, and how to use the snorkelling equipment. Once aboard the boat, you’ll head to calm, clear areas ideal for exploring the Posidonia meadows and marine biodiversity of Menorca’s Natura 2000 sites.
The guide accompanies you throughout the snorkelling session, offering tips and support to make you feel confident in the water. You’ll have opportunities to spot colourful fish, invertebrates, and the seagrass that makes this area so ecologically important. The pace is relaxed, giving you time to enjoy each moment and move at your own comfort level.
During the trip, enjoy a picnic with local products and non-alcoholic drinks. Underwater souvenir photos are taken to capture your experience. Optional extras include organic sunscreens, a waist bag for collecting plastics, and an illustrated guide to the Mediterranean Sea, allowing guests to further engage with the environment.
Morning departures are from Es Grau, offering calm waters and a convenient location with free parking. This area is excellent for families and beginner snorkellers, with shallow and clear spots perfect for discovering marine life safely.
Afternoon trips depart from Fornells, where you’ll travel a short distance to protected dive sites. These waters are slightly deeper and more open, ideal for snorkellers seeking a more immersive experience. Both locations are part of Menorca’s marine reserves, providing rich biodiversity in a sustainable environment.
Guests should be confident in the water, but previous snorkelling experience is not required. Children under 8 can join the boat with adult supervision but do not participate in the snorkelling activity.
Anyone with mobility issues or medical conditions should inform the guide in advance. All snorkelling equipment is provided, including a short wetsuit, mask, snorkel, and fins, along with guidance on their proper use for safety and comfort.
The guide is a Menorcan native with extensive experience exploring local waters and a deep passion for marine conservation. They combine knowledge of the island’s ecosystems with practical guidance, ensuring every guest gains insight into the Posidonia meadows, protected seabeds, and local marine species. The personalised attention ensures safety and confidence in the water, whether you’re a beginner or experienced snorkeller.
Beyond technical skill, the guide is dedicated to creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for each guest. They emphasise sustainability, including education on plastic pollution and marine protection, and tailor the trip to individual interests and comfort levels, offering a relaxed, informative, and rewarding experience on Menorca’s beautiful coast.
