Charter a skippered sailing yacht privately out of Sotogrande for your group of up to eight. Choose a duration on the live calendar, sail the Costa del Sol, drop anchor for a swim when conditions allow, and keep drinks onboard for an easy celebration, family day or quiet friends' outing.
After briefing you leave the marina for open water with room for your group only. Typical coastal legs can take in stretches toward Trocadero, Chullera or Punta Mala, with Rock views when timing and haze allow. Sail short hops, pause for photographs, or anchor for a swim when the skipper finds sheltered water. Bring a simple picnic if you want lunch on deck; drinks are typically listed on your confirmation.
The crew manages safety and routing so you can socialise without learning lines or watching instruments. Calendar options commonly include two, three and four hour slots, and longer sails are available within the published booking choices so the day can stretch when wind and your plans allow.
Return is to the same Sotogrande berth. If time remains at the end of your slot, a slow look into marina canals can finish the charter without adding a second harbour transfer.
Real Club Marítimo de Sotogrande on Avenida de la Marina sits in a marina setting that opens quickly onto Costa del Sol sailing water. Guests based in Sotogrande, San Roque and nearby coastal towns usually reach the waterfront by car or taxi with straightforward access to the berth.
Landmarks that often feature in private routes include Trocadero beach-club shorelines, Punta Chullera's rockier edge and Punta Mala on Playa Alcaidesa, where Rock views can open up on clearer days. The short distance from berth to sailing water means more of your charter is spent enjoying coast rather than repositioning between harbours.
No sailing skills required. Guests should follow crew instructions and supervise children.
Bring sun protection, pale-sole shoes or soft bare feet, and a towel if swimming.
Private charter means your party alone rather than mixing with strangers on a shared list. Local skippers know quiet anchorages along this stretch and keep routing flexible around how your group wants to balance sailing time, swim stops and photography.
You keep drinks onboard as listed, can bring your own picnic food, and choose a duration that fits the celebration or family day you have planned. Pets may be welcome when confirmed at booking, which is easier to manage on a private day than on shared departures.
Meet at Real Club Marítimo de Sotogrande, Avenida de la Marina, 11310 Sotogrande, Cádiz. Arrive fifteen minutes before departure for briefing.
Parking is available around the marina complex; allow extra time when summer waterfront traffic builds.
This listing is for your party alone rather than mixing with other bookings. The yacht is yours for the duration you select on the live calendar.
Common options include two, three and four hour sails. Confirm your preferred length when you reserve so the crew blocks the right window.
Up to eight guests share the private yacht. This listing is for your party alone rather than mixing with other bookings.
Tell the crew ages of children when booking so life jackets and seating are ready on arrival.
Meet at Real Club Marítimo de Sotogrande, Avenida de la Marina, 11310. Arrive fifteen minutes early for briefing and boarding.
Transport to the marina is not included. Leave time for parking in busy periods along the waterfront.
Drinks are typically included on board for this private sail according to your confirmation. You may also bring your own food and soft drinks to personalise the outing.
Ask before bringing glass bottles or large coolers. Distilled spirits and unsafe behaviour are not allowed for safety reasons.
Yes when conditions allow. The skipper can drop anchor for a swim in sheltered water and may offer paddle options if listed for your boat that day.
Bring swimwear and a towel. Follow crew advice before entering the water from the yacht.
No experience is required. The professional crew handles navigation while your group relaxes, sails short hops, or stops for a swim.
A safety briefing covers deck etiquette, life jackets and how to move while under way before you leave the berth.
Pets may be welcome if you confirm when booking. Keep animals under control and bring water and a towel for them.
Private space makes pet travel easier than on shared departures, yet approval still depends on the crew and day.
The crew monitors wind and sea state before every charter and only leaves when conditions feel safe for your group.
If a departure cannot run, you will be contacted with next steps before you travel to the marina.
Wear comfortable clothes, pale-sole shoes or soft bare feet, and sun protection for bright days on deck. Bring a light jacket for cooler breeze once you clear the harbour.
If swimming is on the plan, pack swimwear and a towel. Motion-sickness tablets an hour before boarding help if you know you need them.
Common stops include coastal stretches toward Trocadero, Chullera or Punta Mala with Rock views when timing allows. Exact routing flexes with wind, sea state and your group's wishes.
Tell the skipper if you prefer more sailing time, a longer swim stop, or calmer water closer to the marina.
