Take a break from the city and step aboard a private yacht for a 2-hour midday cruise along Barcelona’s coastline. With the yacht and crew exclusively for your group, you can relax, swim, or simply enjoy the views at your own pace. Light snacks and an open bar are provided, making it a perfect outing for families, friends, or small celebrations.
Board the yacht at Port Vell Marina, where the crew will welcome you and give a full safety briefing, including guidance on moving safely on deck and the location of refreshments. Once on the water, the yacht will glide gently along the city’s coastline, offering a unique perspective of Barcelona’s landmarks including Barceloneta Beach, the W Hotel, and the Olympic Port.
During the cruise, you may anchor offshore in a calm area where the swim platform can be lowered. Guests have the opportunity to take a leisurely swim in the clear Mediterranean waters, or simply relax on deck while enjoying premium wines, beers, and local snacks prepared fresh onboard. The skipper is on hand to manage all sailing operations, allowing your group to fully unwind. The crew also provides engaging commentary about local landmarks, marine life, and the history of the harbour.
The meeting point is on the street directly in front of Restaurant MOLO39 at Plaça de Pau Vila 39, 08039 Barcelona. Guests must wait outside at street level — not on the terrace — as this is where the crew collects everyone. The spot is on the south side of Palau de Mar, just before the restaurant entrance, making it straightforward to find when arriving from the square. Please stay outside and avoid entering the restaurant or walking into the marina so the team can locate you without delay.
Once the crew meets you here, they will walk you to the nearby marina for boarding. Departures take place from this area, giving direct access to the harbour and the wider coastline. The cruise then follows Barcelona’s waterfront for several miles, passing beaches, historic harbour zones, and notable architectural features. The sheltered harbour ensures steady boarding and a smooth start to the trip, while the open water beyond offers clear views and a comfortable platform for sightseeing or relaxing on deck.
Guests should be able to move safely on deck and follow the crew’s instructions. Swimming is optional and fully supervised if you choose to use the yacht’s bathing platform.
Dress in comfortable clothing suitable for midday sun, and wear non-slip shoes. Bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a camera is recommended to capture your time on the water. Towels are provided if you wish to swim.
The yachts are modern, spacious, and designed for comfort, with large decks, shaded areas, and facilities to accommodate small private groups. Open spaces allow easy movement and areas for sunbathing or relaxing.
Our professional crew combines technical sailing skills with attentive hospitality. RYA-certified skippers navigate safely while allowing your group to relax, ensuring a seamless, enjoyable experience. Their local knowledge enhances the cruise with commentary on landmarks, marine life, and Barcelona’s maritime history. Small private groups guarantee personal attention and a flexible itinerary, tailored to your interests.
It’s best to dress in comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Even in summer, it can get breezy on the water, so a light jacket or windbreaker is recommended. Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen will help protect you from the sun, and a towel is handy if you plan to get a little wet.
Footwear should be flat and secure; avoid flip-flops or slippery shoes. You might also consider bringing a small bag for personal items, and a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the tour. Checking the weather forecast ahead of time helps ensure you pack exactly what you need.
Yes, a selection of local wines, beers, cava, soft drinks, and light snacks including olives, jamón, cheese, and crisps are included. Guests can enjoy refreshments throughout the cruise without interruption.
Dietary restrictions can be communicated in advance, and while options are limited to snacks, the crew makes every effort to accommodate reasonable requests. This ensures a pleasant and relaxed experience for all guests.
Children are welcome on board and are considered full passengers. The number of spots is limited, so all passengers—including infants—need to be registered and paid for to guarantee a safe and comfortable experience.
Parents should ensure children are supervised at all times and are comfortable around water. Life jackets are provided for all passengers, including children, to maintain safety standards throughout the tour.
It’s important to arrive on time as tours cannot accommodate late arrivals. Boats operate on strict schedules, and missing the start time means the tour may depart without you to stay on schedule.
We recommend leaving plenty of time to reach the meeting point, considering traffic, public transport, or other delays. Checking the location in advance and planning accordingly helps ensure you don’t miss any part of the experience.
Safety is a top priority. All boats are commercially certified and regularly inspected to meet strict maritime standards. Professional skippers handle navigation, and a well-stocked medical kit is kept onboard. The tour route stays close to the coast for additional safety and emergency access.
Weather conditions are constantly monitored. If conditions become unsafe, the tour will be rescheduled or cancelled to prevent any risk to passengers. Passengers are also briefed on safety procedures at the start of the tour, and life jackets are provided for everyone.
Pets are not permitted on this sailing activity to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers. The boats are designed to accommodate a specific number of human passengers, and adding pets could disrupt safety and space.
If you would like to bring a pet along, consider alternative options such as arranging care onshore or looking into pet-friendly excursions in the area. This ensures you can still enjoy your sailing experience without worrying about your pet’s welfare.
Tours only get cancelled in rare circumstances, usually due to unsafe weather conditions or operational issues. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible so you can adjust your plans without stress. Safety is always prioritised, so cancellations are done to ensure everyone on board remains secure.
If the activity is cancelled, you will be offered the option to reschedule for another available date or receive a full refund. This ensures you don’t miss out on the experience entirely, and gives flexibility in case your schedule changes.
Absolutely. All sailing operations are handled by the professional skipper, so no prior experience is required. Guests can relax, enjoy the views, or participate in light sailing tasks if they wish.
Safety briefings are provided before departure, including guidance on moving around the deck, accessing refreshments, and using the swim platform. Life jackets are available for all guests, and the calm midday waters make this a smooth, worry-free experience.
