A private day on a traditional Menorcan llaut lets your group set the pace, whether you want long swim stops or a gentle cruise along the coast. Choose Divina I for a nimble 10 m hull, Divina III for a balanced 12 m boat, or Divina II when you want the widest deck and solarium for up to twelve people.
Once your boat and slot are confirmed, you join the crew at the pontoon for a short safety talk and help stowing bags and picnic supplies. Divina I is the classic choice for smaller groups who still want room for twelve, Divina II is the go-to when lounging space matters, and Divina III bridges the two with an easy-handling 12 m profile for up to eleven guests.
From there the captain shapes the day around the forecast and what you want to see, anchoring in clear water for snorkelling or paddle boarding when it is safe to do so. Tableware is on board if you bring food, and we confirm exact departure and return times when your request is approved so the day runs to a clear schedule.
Sailing from Mahón puts you inside one of the Mediterranean's great natural harbours, with the east coast of Menorca opening up toward coves such as Sa Mesquida and, when conditions allow, bays further south toward Punta Prima and Binibeca. Moll de Llevant is a practical meet point, with parking nearby and a straightforward walk to the berth.
Because wind and swell change through the day, routes are never fixed on a map. The crew favour quieter anchorages for swimming and will shift the plan rather than sit in chop, which keeps the day relaxed even in peak season.
You do not need sailing skills or qualifications; the captain and crew run the boat while you enjoy the deck. It helps if you are happy to sit on deck, move about when asked, and get in the water if you plan to swim or snorkel.
Tell us how many are coming, including ages and any mobility considerations, when you request a date so we match the right llaut and life jacket sizes. Guest numbers are capped per licence and cannot be exceeded.
Three llauts on one booking page makes it simple to compare size and price before you commit, and the team knows Menorca's harbour rules and cove options from daily work out of Mahón. Snorkel and paddle kit stays on the boats, so you can pack light.
If weather or plans shift, we look for another slot or hull in the fleet when we can. That flexibility matters on a short holiday when you want one well-planned day on the water rather than a rigid timetable.
Meet at Moll de Llevant, confirm your llaut and duration, and board with a short safety briefing. Stow picnic bags and settle on deck before lines are cast off.
The crew checks guest counts against the licence limit for your chosen boat before departure.
Cruise toward north or south coves depending on the forecast and your preferences. Pause for swimming, snorkelling and paddle boarding when the captain finds sheltered water.
Your route differs by llaut only in how much deck space you have between stops, not in the care the crew takes at each anchorage.
Return to Mahón at the agreed time. The crew helps you ashore and outlines anything you booked for a later date in the fleet.
Collect personal items from deck storage before you leave the pontoon.
Divina I is the 10 m boat and usually the most economical choice for up to twelve people who want a classic llaut without the largest deck. It handles well in smaller coves and suits groups who plan to swim, snorkel and picnic rather than lounge for hours between stops.
Pick Divina II when deck and solarium space matter most, because at 15 m it gives the roomiest layout for twelve guests. Divina III fits up to eleven on a 12 m hull, a middle ground if you want more space than Divina I but do not need the full size of Divina II.
Divina I is the smallest hull in the fleet at 10 m, which keeps running costs lower while still carrying twelve guests under licence. You get the same crew, kit and cove-hopping style as the larger boats, with a slightly cosier deck layout.
Divina II adds five metres of length, so groups spread out more easily on the solarium and around the table. Maximum guest count stays at twelve, but the extra beam is noticeable when several people want to sunbathe or eat at the same time.
Groups of nine, ten or eleven often prefer Divina III because the 12 m platform feels generous without paying for the largest boat. The guest limit is eleven, not twelve, which matches how the hull is certificated.
It still reaches the same style of north-shore coves and harbour anchorages as the rest of the fleet. Your captain plans the day around calm water and your preferences, not the badge on the transom.
At booking you select the boat and the duration tier that matches your plans, whether that is a four-hour half-day, an eight-hour day or a ten-hour extended charter when offered. Departure times are tied to those tiers, such as 14:30 for many half-days or 10:00 for longer slots.
When you submit your request, tell us your group size and any timing constraints so we can approve the right slot or suggest the nearest alternative before anything is confirmed.
Paddle boards, snorkelling equipment and galley tableware for picnics you bring on board come with the boat hire you select at booking.
Skipper and fuel are added at checkout as separate lines, with half-day and full-day rates that match the duration you selected. Catering delivered to the pontoon can be arranged separately if you want it.
We meet on Moll de Llevant in Mahón harbour. Your confirmation email includes the berth or pontoon for your date so you can walk straight to the right gate in the port.
Parking is nearby but can fill on summer weekends, so allow a few extra minutes from the car park to the boat. Call the number in your confirmation if you are delayed so the crew knows whether to hold the slot.
Meals are not cooked on board as part of the standard charter. You are welcome to bring your own picnic, snacks and drinks and use the tableware stowed in the galley.
Several restaurants in Mahón will deliver to the boat if you order ahead. Mention it when you request a date and we can suggest reliable suppliers for your sailing day.
Children are welcome when an adult supervises them at all times on deck and in the water. Life jackets for different sizes are on board and the captain covers safety before lines are cast off.
Share ages and headcount when you book so the crew reserves the right llaut and jacket sizes. Swim stops are chosen with families in mind when the sea is calm enough.
We only sail when the route planned for your slot is safe. If wind or swell makes that impossible, we contact you to move the charter to another time during your stay rather than putting the group in uncomfortable seas.
On the day, the captain may shorten the route or stay inside the harbour if that still gives you a good day out. Safety decisions always sit with the crew, even when the calendar shows fine weather ashore.
Licensing fixes the maximum guests per boat: twelve on Divina I and II, eleven on Divina III. Babies and children count toward that total, so send an accurate headcount with your request.
If you are one or two over the limit, ask before booking and we can talk through two boats on the same day or another date in the fleet calendar.

About the centre
Mahón
From Mahón harbour we run private charters on traditional Menorcan llauts, with skippers who know the island's coves and the rhythm of the port. Friends, families and small groups come to us for swim stops, snorkelling, paddle boarding and unhurried time on deck while the east coast opens up beyond the breakwater.
Three boats in the fleet cover different group sizes and deck space, from compact day hires to longer sails and short sunrise or sunset slots. Snorkel and paddle kit is ready on board, picnics are welcome in the galley, and we shape each trip around the weather and what your group wants from the day.
