Campfire time sits in the middle of a private ATV or UTV loop around Levi, rather than at the end of the ride. Over about three hours you ride out through forest and open ground, eat sausages and snacks by the fire, then ride the shorter way back. Collection is from your accommodation, and we finish at the same door.
Guides meet you at your stay, check licences, and match each person to an ATV or a UTV before the engines start. Controls are practised in a quiet spot, then the group follows onto forest and open ground at a pace that suits the least confident rider. If anyone would rather sit in a UTV for the whole loop, say so when you book so we can plan the seats.
Outbound riding is the longer stretch, with regroups so the line stays together. Engines go off at the fire while sausages cook and warm drinks and snacks are served, and there is time to sit and eat rather than grabbing food on the move. When the group is ready, you ride the shorter way home and we drop you at the same Levi address.
Countryside around Levi and Sirkka holds the trails, away from the busiest village streets once the first trees close in. Forest tracks and open ground make up the riding, with the campfire off the main roads rather than beside a car park. The resort is still close enough that a three-hour outing can hold a proper fire stop and a return to the village.
Sirkka sits next to the winter resort you are staying in, in Finnish Lapland. Tracks just beyond the village are what this ride uses, then you return to the same streets you left. The fire camp is in the forest on that loop, not a barbecue terrace in town.
Licensed drivers need a physical card at the briefing, and earlier ATV time is not required because the first minutes cover the controls. Children need to be at least four, and older children ride with a licensed driver. Tell us who will drive and who would rather sit as a passenger so we bring the right mix of ATVs and UTV seats.
Sitting still at the fire means a warm layer you can keep on while the sausages cook. Closed shoes are better than open sandals for getting on and off the machines. Send dietary needs for the sausages, drinks and snacks when you book, so the stop can be planned around your group.
Machines and the fire belong to your group, so the first kilometres can stay steady if someone is new to quads. Helmets are included with the booking, and the barbecue stop is part of the outing rather than an extra you arrange later. The same guide stays with you from the briefing until you are back at the door.
Built around that fire stop, the loop has a longer ride out and a shorter ride home, so the meal sits in the middle rather than at the end. Pace is set for the least confident rider, which is why this works as a first ATV outing as well as a private afternoon for people who already ride. Collection from your Levi stay is part of the three hours.
We meet at your Levi accommodation, verify licences, and assign ATVs or UTVs. Controls and spacing are practised on the spot before the group rolls onto the first track.
Forest trails and open stretches make up the longer leg, with your guide in front and pace set to the least confident rider. Regroups keep the line tight before anyone is committed to a faster section.
Sausages, warm drinks, and snacks are served at the fire with engines silent. When the group is ready, you ride the shorter return leg and finish at the address where we began.
The outing lasts about three hours door to door. That covers the ride out, a real sit-down at the campfire, and the shorter ride back to your accommodation.
Your booked start time is when we aim to be at your Levi address. If you are staying on the edge of the village, mention it so travel to the first track fits inside the three hours.
Grilled sausages, warm drinks, and local-style snacks are prepared at the fire. It is enough to satisfy hunger mid-ride, not a multi-course restaurant meal.
Tell us about allergies and foods you avoid before arrival. Anyone who needs a full lunch before or after should eat at their accommodation; the fire is the only food on this tour.
Yes, if you plan to steer. Your guide checks a physical licence before engines start; a photo on a phone is not accepted.
Passengers ride with a licensed driver. Share children's ages when you book so we bring a UTV bench instead of an extra ATV nobody is licensed to drive.
We start at your Levi accommodation. There is no separate depot or trailhead to navigate, which helps if you are visiting without a hire car.
Put the full address and a working mobile on the booking. We use that number if machines are a few minutes behind the slot you chose.
Not at all. The first minutes are throttle, brake, and following distance, practised before the group joins the forest line.
If stepping over a quad feels awkward, a UTV seat is simpler. Mention that when you book so the vehicle plan is set before we load the trailer.
Bring a warm base layer under the kit we issue. Wool or synthetic beats cotton, which holds damp and cools you at the fire. Closed shoes help on rough ground when you step off the machines.
Outer layers for wind and temperature are provided. Autumn afternoons can feel mild on the ride and much colder once you stop to eat, so pack for both.
The tour is private for two to six people. It does not run as a solo booking, and a seventh guest cannot join the fire circle.
Send ages with the booking so seating is right on arrival. A younger passenger is often happiest in the UTV beside a licensed parent.
Autumn light paints the tracks gold and russet, and that is a favourite season for this barbecue loop. Winter and spring dates appear on the live calendar when conditions allow.
This experience centres on daylight riding and the campfire meal. Book a slot that leaves time to sit at the fire, then ride the shorter way home before the village evening starts.
Cancel 72 hours or more before the start for a full refund. Closer than that, or if nobody meets us at pickup, payment stays because food and machines are already committed to your group.
Check the cut-off for your chosen date before you pay. If a track closes, we call the mobile on the booking rather than leaving you dressed with nowhere to ride.
Professional photos are an optional extra, useful if you want everyone in frame at the fire without missing the meal. Your own phone is fine once engines are off and the guide says the stop is safe.
Do not shoot while vehicles are moving. The campfire is the natural moment for pictures, with helmets stacked and smoke in the background.
