Get airborne above the east coast and see Belle Mare from a completely different angle on a guided parasailing flight. Towed by a speedboat and securely harnessed, you’ll rise steadily above the lagoon for wide views of the coastline and reef below.
The session begins with a short safety briefing explaining take-off, landing, and body positioning during the flight. You’ll be fitted with a harness and safety equipment before boarding the boat. Once offshore, the parasail is gradually deployed as the boat gains speed, lifting you smoothly into the air.
During the flight, you’ll float above the lagoon with a stable, seated position in the harness. From this height, the coastline, shallow reef areas, and changing water colours are clearly visible. The ride is steady rather than fast, allowing time to take in the views and, if conditions allow, capture photos or video.
At the end of the flight, the boat slows and gently lowers you back onto the deck. Crew members assist throughout, ensuring clear communication during take-off and landing before returning to shore.
The activity takes place along the Belle Mare coastline on the east coast of Mauritius, an area known for long sandy beaches and wide lagoons. The shallow reef system helps create calm water conditions suitable for parasailing.
The launch point is easily accessible by road, with beachside access for boats and equipment. Final meeting instructions are provided in advance.
No previous parasailing experience is required. Participants must be comfortable wearing a harness and following crew instructions during the activity.
Weight limits and weather conditions apply and are checked on the day. Parasailing is subject to suitable wind and sea conditions.
Parasailing offers a calm, controlled way to experience height without the need for technical skills or physical exertion. The east coast location provides clear visibility over lagoon and reef systems.
Experienced boat crews manage each flight with a focus on safety and smooth operation, making this suitable for first-time flyers as well as those returning for another flight.
