What to Expect

Upon arrival, you’ll be provided with all the necessary equipment, including a full-length wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet, and wetsuit socks. Your instructor will run through a safety briefing and basic paddleboarding techniques before heading to the water.

The session starts with practising balance and paddle strokes in a sheltered area. Once comfortable, you’ll venture along the coastline, paddling past dramatic cliffs and hidden inlets. Depending on the conditions, you may have the chance to explore sea caves, navigate gentle waves, or spot local wildlife such as seals and seabirds.

Throughout the session, your instructor will provide guidance tailored to your skill level, helping you improve technique and confidence on the board. Whether you choose to stay standing or prefer to kneel at times, the focus is on enjoying the experience while taking in the beauty of the surroundings.

The session takes place along the gorgeous Pembrokeshire Coast, with its mix of sheltered bays and open waters providing ideal conditions for paddleboarding. The exact route will depend on the tides and weather, ensuring you get the best experience on the day.

Meeting at Pwll Caerog Farm, just outside St Davids, you'll be a short distance from some of the best paddleboarding spots in the area. 

Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Prerequisites

Participants must be at least 8 years old and comfortable in the water. No previous paddleboarding experience is required, as the session is designed for all skill levels.
