Early Morning: Pickup and Drive to Çorovoda
Start with a morning pickup from your accommodation in Durres or Golem. Travel south in a comfortable vehicle, enjoying views of Albania’s countryside along the 3-hour drive to Çorovoda.
Mid-Morning: Preparation and Briefing
Upon arrival, meet your certified rafting guide and receive all necessary equipment, including helmets, life jackets, and paddles. A safety briefing ensures everyone feels confident and ready for the river.
Rafting Adventure: 2.5–3 Hours
Navigate Class II rapids suitable for beginners while taking in 80-meter-high canyon walls, waterfalls, and unique formations such as The Cathedral, The Eye, and Devil’s Gate. Discover legendary spots including Bride’s Hole and Saint Abaz Ali’s Footprint while enjoying both challenging and calm stretches of the river.
Afternoon: Free Time and Return
After rafting, enjoy free time in Çorovoda to grab lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense) before heading back. The return journey includes an optional quick stop at Bogova Waterfall, offering a final chance to admire the natural beauty of the region.
