Join our coasteering adventure, where you'll explore the dynamic intersection of land and sea along Scotland's beautiful coastline. Coasteering blends swimming, scrambling, and tidal exploration for an unforgettable outdoor experience.
Prepare for a day of excitement and discovery with our expert guides. Your journey begins with a meet-up at a designated location, where you'll be introduced to your guide and fellow adventurers. Gear up with provided wetsuit, changing towel, buoyancy aid, and helmet, followed by a thorough safety briefing tailored to the specific conditions of the day.
Venture on your coasteering route, navigating through natural rock formations, leaping into clear waters, and exploring sea caves inaccessible by land. Each location offers unique challenges and gorgeous views, ensuring a varied and thrilling experience. Throughout the adventure, our guides share insights into the local marine environment, enriching your understanding and appreciation of this unique ecosystem.
After completing the route, a short walk brings you back to your transport, concluding a day filled with adrenaline, laughter, and lasting memories.
Our coasteering adventures take place at carefully selected spots throughout Lochaber, renowned for their natural beauty and suitability for this exciting activity.
The meeting point is usually the West End Car Park in Fort William, PH33 6ED.
No previous coasteering experience is required. Basic swimming ability is recommended, and participants should feel comfortable in water.
Our centre in Fort William offers more than just coasteering—it represents a passion for sustainable adventure and environmental education. Inspired by experiences in warmer climates, our team has spent years exploring and preserving Scotland's coastal wonders.
We are dedicated to providing safe, high-quality adventures while minimising our environmental footprint. Whether you're seeking an exciting group activity or a bespoke private trip, we strive to create memorable experiences that inspire a love for nature and adventure.
Coasteering is led by experienced guides who prioritise safety with thorough briefings and top-quality equipment.
Participants are always supervised throughout the activity.
Bring old trainers with secure laces for grip, swimwear, and something to eat post-activity.
Yes, coasteering is suitable for all ages, though minors must be accompanied by an adult.
You don’t actually need to swim to take part in our coasteering sessions but being confident floating in water is preferred.
You must be over 10 to participate.
For all activities, under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We have an incredibly comfortable 9 seater Ford Tourneo, Hybrid.
The fewer cars there are on the road, less nasty emissions will be released into the atmosphere. With this in mind, we would really love if you chose to ride with us to your chosen activity.
It certainly won’t be tropical but our high quality wetsuits will keep you warm during the activity.
Our operation is striving to have as little impact on the planet as possible and protecting the marine and coastal environment is something we are seriously passionate about.
Unfortunately, the very nature of what we do has an impact on the coastline but we plan to minimise this by limiting our group sizes and trying not to use the same venue back to back.
We plan to offset our impact through conservation projects, fundraising for marine and coastal charities across Scotland and generally trying our best to raise awareness through our trips. We are also proud partners of Leave No Trace, WildScotland and WiSE who hold principles in line with our own.
With every decision we make as a business we promise to consider how this will impact the world around us. Finally a percentage of our profits will go towards carbon removal from the atmosphere.
