Descend to one of Cabo de Palos' most celebrated wrecks on a guided boat dive planned for experienced divers who want a deep, memorable site in clear Mediterranean water.
You'll meet at our dive base in Los Belones before heading to Cabo de Palos by boat. Your guide runs a detailed briefing on the Naranjito wreck profile, depth limits and the dive plan, then you kit up and enter the water as a small group with a controlled pace throughout.
Underwater you'll explore the wreck structure and the marine life that has colonised it. The dive follows a technical-recreational profile with safety stops built in, and your instructor keeps the group together from descent to surface.
Cabo de Palos sits on a headland east of Cartagena where the Mediterranean meets some of Spain's richest underwater scenery. The marine reserve protects reefs, walls and historic wrecks that draw divers from across Europe.
Boat access from Los Belones puts you on site quickly, with typically clear water and good visibility when conditions are right. The Naranjito is one of the area's signature wreck dives and a highlight for divers who already hold advanced certification.
You should hold an advanced open-water qualification or equivalent, with recent wreck or deep-diving experience and comfortable buoyancy control. Depth and site conditions suit divers who are already confident managing gas, navigation and buddy procedures at recreational limits.
If you have not dived in the last six months, we strongly recommend a skills refresher before joining this outing. Bring your certification card and logbook when you arrive so your guide can confirm your experience matches the dive profile.
Small groups, patient PADI instruction and thorough briefings mean you dive with confidence rather than rushing the plan. Equipment is included and every session starts with a clear safety briefing before you head to the water.
We know Cabo de Palos intimately, from daily conditions to the best approach on the Naranjito wreck. That local knowledge shows in how we plan each dive and support you from kit-up through the final safety stop.
