Head inland on a guided buggy drive that takes you from the coast up into Mallorca’s mountain landscapes. This session focuses on panoramic roads, elevated viewpoints, and a steady climb to one of the highest accessible points in the area. It’s a great option if you want more varied terrain and longer stretches of winding roads.
After a briefing and introduction to the buggy, you’ll begin the drive along a mix of coastal and inland roads, gradually heading towards higher ground. The early part of the route includes a stop near Porto Cristo, where you can take in views from a coastal fire tower and get comfortable with the vehicle before continuing further inland.
As the route develops, the roads begin to climb and open up into wider views across the east coast. You’ll follow a series of scenic stretches that combine gentle curves with more elevated sections, giving a varied driving experience. The highlight of the session is the ascent to Sant Salvador, rising to around 510 metres, where you’ll stop at the top to take in wide views across the island.
The return journey takes a different route, including a quieter stretch often referred to as the “Romantic Road.” This section offers a more relaxed drive back towards the coast, with less traffic and a smoother pace. The combination of climbing roads, viewpoints, and varied terrain makes this session feel distinct from the coastal route while still being accessible.
This session explores both the east coast and the inland mountain areas of Mallorca, offering a different perspective compared to coastal-only routes. The journey connects coastal starting points with higher inland locations, including the well-known Sant Salvador mountain.
The region is known for its mix of open views, winding roads, and elevated viewpoints. Driving through this area gives you a sense of how the landscape changes as you move away from the coastline, with quieter roads and more expansive scenery as you climb.
Drivers must hold a valid Category B driving licence and bring the original document on the day. A minimum of one year’s driving experience is required, and drivers should be confident using a manual gearbox, as all buggies are manual.
Passengers can join the session, making it suitable for those who prefer not to drive. Closed-toe footwear is required, and participants should come prepared for sun exposure, especially at higher elevations where shade can be limited.
Founded by Christine and Christian, the team has been delivering guided driving experiences in Mallorca since 2013. Over time, their routes have been refined to showcase different sides of the island, including both coastal and inland areas.
Each session is carefully planned to balance driving enjoyment with safety and local regulations, with no off-road driving. Vehicles are checked daily, and experienced guides lead every group, ensuring a smooth and well-organised experience from start to finish.
Off-road driving is not permitted in Mallorca, so this session takes place entirely on public roads. All routes are carefully planned to follow scenic coastal and inland areas while staying within local regulations.
Although there is no off-road element, the experience still offers plenty of variety, with open roads, gentle curves, and viewpoints along the way. The focus is on enjoying the drive itself while taking in the surroundings in a responsible way.
Drivers must hold a valid Category B driving licence (formerly Class 3) and bring the original document with them on the day. Photocopies or digital versions are not accepted.
Minimum age and experience requirements vary depending on the vehicle used during this session. In general, drivers should be comfortable behind the wheel and have at least some prior driving experience.
If a driver arrives without their original driving licence, they will not be able to take part in driving during this session. This is a strict requirement and cannot be waived under any circumstances.
As the vehicle will have been reserved in advance, refunds are not available in this situation. If space allows, there may be the option to join as a passenger instead, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Participants should bring their original driving licence if they plan to drive, along with suitable clothing for the conditions. Closed-toe shoes are required, and items such as sunglasses are strongly recommended.
In warmer weather, applying sunscreen in advance is advised, and bringing a small cloth for the seat can be useful. It’s also worth having some cash on hand for any short stops during the session.
Yes, the route includes a stop at the top of Sant Salvador, giving you time to step out and take in the views. This is one of the main highlights of the session.
You’ll have time to take photos and enjoy the surroundings before continuing the drive. The stop also provides a short break from driving before heading back down.
Driver changes are possible but must be arranged and paid for on the day. Both drivers must meet all requirements, including licence and age restrictions.
The change will take place at a suitable stop along the route, ensuring it can be done safely without affecting the flow of the session.
The buggies are well-suited to this type of terrain, with enough power to handle climbs and stable handling on winding roads. They are designed specifically for guided road tours.
Regular checks are carried out to ensure reliability, including brakes, tyres, and key safety components. This helps provide a consistent and controlled driving experience.
Drivers with basic experience who are confident using a manual vehicle should be comfortable on this session. The guide manages the pace to keep things controlled and enjoyable.
However, those with no experience of manual driving or limited confidence on winding roads may prefer to join as a passenger instead.
