🗺️ What to Expect

After meeting near the National Mall, you’ll be fitted to an eBike and briefed on group riding and pedal-assist use. Assistance engages smoothly as you pedal, allowing the group to maintain a steady pace while covering longer distances than a standard bike tour would allow.

The route follows the length of the National Mall, with regular stops to explore memorials on foot and hear the stories behind their design and placement. You’ll loop around the Tidal Basin, connecting sites such as the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial and Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in a single, logical circuit.

The tour continues west towards the Lincoln Memorial, where reflective water, open space and sightlines create one of the city’s most recognisable views. Depending on departure time, evening rides offer a quieter atmosphere and illuminated monuments, while daytime tours focus on broader orientation and detail.

📍 Location

Washington DC’s monument core is particularly suited to eBike touring, with wide paths and minimal elevation changes. Starting close to the Mall reduces time spent navigating traffic and maximises time spent riding between landmarks.

Access to the Potomac waterfront adds variation to the route, balancing open riverside sections with dense clusters of memorials.

✅ Prerequisites

All riders must be able to ride a bicycle independently and confidently. The minimum age to operate an eBike is 16, and riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

For safety reasons, trailers, tag-a-longs and child seats are not permitted on electric bikes. One government-issued photo ID is required and will be held as a deposit for the duration of the tour, with a credit card kept on file for bike security.

⭐ Why Choose Us

This tour is built for efficiency without sacrificing detail. Using eBikes allows you to see more of the city’s monument landscape within three hours while keeping the ride manageable.

Evening departures add a different perspective, with fewer crowds and illuminated memorials changing how the spaces feel. With a knowledgeable guide and a carefully structured route, the tour offers both orientation and depth.
