Spend a full day rafting through one of southern Turkey’s most established white water locations, combining guided river time with scenery and a riverside lunch. This experience is structured for first-time rafters and mixed-ability groups, with professional guides, equipment, and transfers included.
The day starts with hotel pick-up from Alanya or Antalya, followed by a road transfer to the rafting base in the canyon. On arrival, guides provide a full safety briefing and issue equipment including helmets, life jackets, and paddles. Teams are assigned to rafts, and guides explain paddling commands and river behaviour before entering the water.
Rafting takes place on a defined section of river with Class II–III rapids, interspersed with calmer stretches. Guides control the pace and positioning of each raft, making the experience accessible for beginners while still providing consistent movement through the water. Time on the river is broken up into manageable sections, with opportunities to rest and regroup.
Midway through the day, the group stops for a riverside lunch. This break allows time to relax, eat, and reset before continuing. After completing the rafting route, you’ll change out of wet gear and return by transfer to your original pick-up point.
Rafting takes place in Köprülü Canyon National Park, a protected area known for its steep limestone walls, forested slopes, and clear river water. The canyon lies inland from the coast and is reached by road from both Alanya and Antalya.
The rafting section runs along the Köprüçay River within the park, offering consistent water flow and a controlled rafting corridor used by licensed operators.
Participants should be in good general health and comfortable with moderate physical activity. A basic ability to swim is recommended, as this is a water-based activity.
This experience is not suitable for pregnant participants, people with heart or back problems, or those with mobility impairments. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
This trip offers a full-day outdoor activity with clear logistics, trained guides, and structured river sections suitable for mixed groups. Equipment, instruction, lunch, and transfers are all included, reducing planning on the day.
