Prepare for a day filled with adventure as you navigate beyond the harbour walls to discover secluded coves, historic landmarks, and scenic beaches. Our experienced guides will lead you through a detailed plan that responds to the weather and tidal conditions.
You'll explore Chequered Fort and Newton's Cove, enjoying opportunities for refreshing swims and scenic picnics. Venturing further, you'll paddle up the Fleet Lagoon and stop at Chesil Beach for another swim. Heading south along Portland's coast, you'll visit Church Ope Cove and the Pirate's Graveyard, discovering their fascinating histories.
Depending on conditions, we may also venture to alternative venues like Ringsted, Chesil, Kimmeridge, or Studland, ensuring each trip offers unique insights into Dorset's coastal wonders. A highlight of the experience is enjoying a peaceful lunch at a secluded spot, offering opportunities for swimming, foraging, or simply unwinding amidst nature.
Located at Osprey Leisure Centre in Castletown, Portland, our base provides direct access to some of Dorset's most amazing coastal landscapes, ensuring a memorable kayaking experience.
No prior experience or swimming ability is necessary. Our stable and easy-to-control kayaks ensure comfort and safety for all participants. For colder seasons, appropriate outdoor clothing will be provided.

Whether you're looking to learn new skills or explore familiar waters from a fresh perspective, our friendly guides and comprehensive equipment ensure an unforgettable adventure.
We keep our group sizes small with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 8 people per instructor. If you are a larger group or 2 families who want to kayak together, that is no problem at all; you will simply have multiple instructors looking after you on the water.

Our double kayaks also come equipped with easy-to-use rudders for those who want to stay on course without breaking a sweat.
Bring comfortable clothing suitable for kayaking, including swimwear, a change of clothes, lunch, and plenty of water.
No experience is necessary. Our guides will provide all necessary instruction to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Participants are welcome to bring personal equipment if it meets safety standards.
