Spend an unforgettable hour exploring Mallorca’s northern coastline on a guided jet ski tour to the island of the Aucanada lighthouse. Glide across turquoise waters, take in panoramic coastal views, and feel the energy of the sea as you enjoy one of the island’s most exciting short adventures. This tour is ideal for those seeking a fun mix of speed, scenery, and exploration.
The session begins at Club Nàutic Ca’n Picafort, where you’ll meet your instructor and receive a short safety briefing before getting fitted with a life jacket and neoprene suit. Once ready, you’ll set off from the marina, feeling the jet ski power up beneath you as you head out across the Bay of Alcudia. The calm, open sea here makes it perfect for both first-timers and confident riders, with plenty of space to enjoy a comfortable and safe ride.
As you cruise through the bay, your instructor will guide you towards the island of Aucanada. The journey offers a fantastic mix of speed and scenery — stretches of open water give you time to play with the throttle, while quieter sections allow you to take in the coastal views. When you reach the island, you’ll slow down to admire the Aucanada lighthouse up close, set against the rocky shoreline and surrounded by crystal-clear water that reflects the bright Mediterranean light.
On the return journey, you’ll have more freedom to ride at your preferred pace. Some choose to race the waves while others prefer a relaxed cruise, enjoying the gentle spray and open horizon. Throughout the experience, the guide ensures safety and coordination, while professional photographs capture the best moments of your ride. By the time you return to the marina, you’ll have enjoyed a perfect balance of adventure, sightseeing, and pure fun on the water.
Club Nàutic Ca’n Picafort sits along Mallorca’s northern coast, a short distance from the popular resorts of Alcudia and Playa de Muro. The harbour provides easy access to the sheltered Bay of Alcudia — one of the island’s most beautiful areas for water activities. Calm conditions and clear waters make it a favourite spot for jet skiing, with the island of Aucanada visible in the distance and plenty of coastal landmarks along the way.
The wider area of Can Picafort combines natural charm with convenience. After the excursion, visitors can explore nearby restaurants, relax on the beach, or walk through the marina’s promenade. For guests staying in Alcudia, a pick-up service is available within a 7 km radius, making the experience easy to include as part of a day out on Mallorca’s north coast.
Participants should arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to complete check-in and receive safety instructions. All riders must bring valid ID or a copy, and those under 18 will need written parental authorisation. The minimum age for participation is 5, with children riding as passengers alongside an adult. Life jackets are provided for everyone, and all riders must wear them throughout the activity.
It’s best to wear swimwear or light clothing that can get wet, as you’ll be provided with a neoprene suit before departure. Sunscreen and sunglasses with a secure strap are recommended. Participants should also be in good general health, as the experience involves balance, movement, and exposure to sea spray.
The team behind this jet ski tour is known for their professionalism, experience, and dedication to guest enjoyment. Every instructor is certified and familiar with the local area, ensuring a safe and relaxed environment from start to finish. Their approach is friendly and supportive, helping even first-time riders feel confident while maintaining high safety standards on the water.
Beyond the professionalism, what makes this experience stand out is its personal touch. The team aims to create memorable outings rather than simple rides, offering local insights, photography, and route adjustments based on conditions and group preference. The result is a tour that feels exciting, well-organised, and perfectly suited to the beauty of Mallorca’s coast.
The minimum age to operate a JetSki is 18 years. This ensures that all participants have the maturity and physical capability required to safely control the watercraft during excursions.
For younger riders aged 16 or 17, parental permission is required. This can be provided via a signed consent form prior to the activity, allowing younger participants to join under the supervision of an experienced instructor.
No license is required for the excursions that are guided by an instructor. The sessions are designed to provide all the necessary training, safety instructions, and supervision, allowing anyone to enjoy the activity regardless of prior experience.
The instructor will cover all operational details, including handling, speed control, and safety procedures, so that participants can ride confidently and safely. This makes it accessible for first-time riders or anyone who has never operated a JetSki before.
The prices for our excursions are per JetSki, not per person. Each JetSki can accommodate one or two people, so the cost covers the craft regardless of whether you ride alone or with a passenger.
This pricing structure allows friends, couples, or family members to ride together on the same JetSki. Passengers must follow the instructor’s safety guidelines and wear appropriate life jackets, ensuring a secure experience for both riders.
All JetSkis used are from the Sea-Doo range, specifically the GTX 170 and GTX 130 Pro models. These are reliable, high-performance watercraft designed for both stability and speed, suitable for riders of varying skill levels.
The choice of Sea-Doo ensures a smooth and safe experience on the water. Instructors maintain all JetSkis regularly, checking safety equipment and performance before each session to guarantee a secure and enjoyable excursion.
Yes, beginners are welcome on all guided excursions. The instructor provides a comprehensive briefing covering basic operation, safety procedures, and handling, so no prior experience is needed to enjoy the activity.
The sessions are structured to gradually build confidence on the water. Beginners will start with slower speeds and simple manoeuvres, progressing to more advanced riding techniques as they become comfortable under the instructor’s supervision.
