My philosophy is that the outdoors is for everyone. Growing up in Cheshire I didn't discover my love for the outdoors until I was 25 and since then my love for the outdoors has grown and continues to this day. My passion is being able to show others the wonders of the outdoor world and pass on my knowledge, skills and experiences. Throughout my career as an outdoor instructor I have been fortunate enough that my adventures have taken me across the world and allowed me to meet so many amazing people.
Starting in Cheshire I developed my love for climbing when a friend took me to the local indoor wall. From there I travelled around Canada, deepening my love for the outdoors and focusing my mind on a career as an outdoor professional. Once back from my travels I completed a foundation degree in adventure sports and management which allowed me to obtain a variety of outdoor qualifications. Since college I have moved around the UK spending time in England, Wales and Scotland where I have continued to work towards higher level qualifications. My current goal is to achieve the Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor Award.
