Book the boat exclusively for your party on a flexible half-day charter from Vlorë. You still visit Haxhi Ali Cave and the Karaburun coast, but timings and swim stops follow your group's pace rather than a fixed shared schedule.
The vessel is reserved for your group for about three and a half hours from boarding to return. Your skipper runs to Haxhi Ali Cave when you are ready, then anchors along the Karaburun coast at beaches your party chooses, whether you want a long swim at Saint Vasil, extra photos at the cave mouth, or a quiet pause on deck with snacks you brought along. You set how long each stop lasts without waiting on other passengers to get back on board, which works well for families with young children, small celebrations, or anyone who wants space for group photos.
The crew carries the same life jackets, emergency kit and medical pack as on shared tours, and they brief safety before leaving the harbour. They may visit beaches before the cave if wind makes that the smarter order for the day. Mention mobility needs at boarding so they can help with steps onto the boat, and pack water and light food because meals are not included on the charter.
Boarding is on Rruga Cameria in Vlorë, a short walk from the waterfront where speedboats and day cruisers leave for Karaburun. From the harbour you quickly reach open Ionian water with views back toward the city and the channel towards Sazan.
Private charters use the same departure zone as shared trips, so taxis and local buses that serve the seafront still work well. Allow a few extra minutes in summer when the promenade is busy.
No licence or prior boating experience is required. You should be comfortable on a moving deck for a few hours and happy for children to follow crew instructions near the gunwales.
Minimum age 5 applies with an accompanying adult. Mention mobility needs at boarding so the team can help with steps onto the boat.
With the vessel reserved for your group alone, the skipper can pace cave visits and beach stops around nap times, photo setups or a relaxed lunch on deck without waiting on other passengers.
Local captains know which coves stay calm in different winds, carry life jackets and emergency kit as standard, and will reschedule or shorten the route if the sea turns before it is safe to continue.
Meet on Rruga Cameria in Vlorë (postcode 9401) at the time on your booking confirmation. Arrive a little early for boarding and the safety brief.
Public transport serves the waterfront; taxis are easy from hotels around Vlorë and the riviera. Summer parking can be busy, so allow extra time on peak days.
Allow about three and a half hours from boarding to return, with your group setting how long you linger at Haxhi Ali Cave and Karaburun beaches.
Exact minutes at each stop depend on sea conditions and what your party wants to do. The skipper confirms the plan at the harbour and may reorder stops for safety.
Guests aged five and older may join when accompanied by a responsible adult for the whole charter. The minimum on your booking must be met on the travel date.
Private pacing suits families who want extra time at a beach without waiting on other passengers to return to the boat.
No licence or prior boat time is required. The crew helps with boarding, life jackets and safe access to the water near the hull.
Snorkelling is optional at calm stops. Ask the skipper about depth and currents before leaving the ladder.
Pack swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, a hat and drinking water. Snacks are useful because meals are not served on board.
A dry bag protects phones and cameras from spray. Non-slip shoes make boarding easier than smooth flip-flops alone.
Hotel pickup is not included. Meet at Rruga Cameria, Vlorë, at the departure time on your confirmation.
Taxis reach the waterfront from most Vlorë hotels; allow buffer time in high season when parking near the port fills up.
Cave entries and beach landings need manageable swell. Unsafe conditions may mean a delayed start, a shorter coastal route or cancellation with rebook or refund options.
Your captain makes the final harbour decision with safety first, even if that means reshaping the charter away from the usual stop order.
The vessel can take up to the maximum capacity listed on this page for your party only. You are not sharing deck space with strangers on this product.
Quote the headcount accurately at booking so the crew can confirm life jackets and seating layout before you sail.
Non-swimmers can enjoy the cave and coastline from the deck while others swim. Life jackets are available whenever anyone is near the waterline.
Tell the skipper at boarding if anyone prefers to stay dry; they can suggest calm anchoring spots and seating away from spray.
Life jackets, emergency equipment and a medical kit are on board for every private charter. The briefing covers child sizes and when to wear jackets near the cave.
Children and non-swimmers should wear a jacket during transfers and whenever the crew advises.
Cancel free up to twenty-four hours before the scheduled start for a full refund. Later changes depend on boat availability and may count as a new booking.
No-shows and late arrival without notice are non-refundable. Operator cancellations for weather or safety include a rebook or full refund.

About the centre
Vlorë
We run guided boat and speedboat trips along the Albanian Riviera from Vlorë, visiting sea caves, hidden bays and islands such as Sazan and the Karaburun Peninsula. Our skippers know these waters well and keep groups comfortable whether you join a shared departure or book a private charter for your own pace.
Safety kit, life jackets and onboard support are part of every trip. We welcome families and mixed groups within the age and capacity limits for each route, and we monitor weather and sea conditions so you can focus on swimming, sightseeing and time on the water.
