Whether you’re looking to build confidence, work towards a specific challenge, or simply enjoy a day in the mountains, these guided experiences are tailored to suit your needs. With expert knowledge and a focus on making the outdoors accessible for all, Lauren ensures a safe and enjoyable time in the hills.
Every guided session is designed around what you want to achieve, whether that’s gaining confidence, improving navigation skills, or simply enjoying a supportive day in the mountains. Walks and runs can be planned to fit your fitness level and interests, whether you're aiming to complete Wainwrights, train for an event, or just enjoy the scenery.
For guided walks, expect a relaxed but well-structured day, covering terrain suited to your ability. Lauren will help you navigate safely, share knowledge of the landscape, and offer advice to help you feel more comfortable in the mountains.
For guided runs, whether it’s a steady-paced outing or a recce for a future challenge, Lauren will work with you to plan the best route. With her Leadership in Running Fitness qualification, she can help with pacing, technique, and confidence in off-road terrain.
Guided walks and runs take place in a variety of mountain and hill environments, with routes chosen based on your goals and experience level. Whether it’s classic routes in the Lake District, quieter trails off the beaten path, or a specific challenge you have in mind, Lauren will ensure the best experience for you.
These guided experiences are open to everyone, regardless of ability or experience. All that’s needed is appropriate clothing, footwear, and enthusiasm for being outdoors.
If you have any specific concerns, Lauren is happy to discuss and adapt the session accordingly.
With over 15 years of competitive experience and extensive qualifications, including Mountain Leader (Summer) and Leadership in Running Fitness, Lauren offers expert guidance tailored to each individual. Her background in psychology and training in mental health first aid ensures a supportive and encouraging approach to outdoor coaching.
Inclusivity and accessibility are at the heart of Lauren’s work. She is passionate about breaking down barriers so that more people can confidently enjoy the outdoors. Her involvement with organisations such as Anti Racist Cumbria and Trash Free Trails reflects her commitment to making outdoor spaces welcoming for all.
