Once everyone is ready, you’ll head onto the water as the last of the daylight fades. The glow from your board lights the surface beneath you, revealing ripples, reflections, and the quiet movements of the water.
The route follows a calm stretch of the Cuckmere Meanders, offering a relaxed paddle ideal for those with some previous experience. Instructors remain on hand throughout, offering pointers to help you refine your technique while keeping the group together. It’s a completely different atmosphere from daytime paddling – peaceful, calm, and perfect for taking in the sights and sounds of nature at dusk.
Each session runs in small groups to keep things personal and safe. You’ll finish feeling refreshed, having experienced a unique way to enjoy paddleboarding after dark in one of East Sussex’s most scenic spots.
