Leave the coast for a guided canyon day where desert terrain and freshwater features can meet when seasonal conditions allow. This six-hour outing combines travel, a paced hike, possible swimming and a Baja lunch.
Travel toward the canyon, receive an orientation and walk with a guide through rock formations and native vegetation at a group pace. The water features vary by season and current conditions.
Swimming in pools or at the waterfall may be possible only when conditions allow and is never guaranteed. After the hike, enjoy a traditional Baja lunch before returning.
The route reaches Fox Canyon via the Sierra de la Laguna region, contrasting arid Baja terrain with a more sheltered canyon environment.
Plaza Gali and La Comer or Mega in San José are pickup-point options, and selected-hotel pickup is complimentary. Final times and location are confirmed after reservation.
Guests aged six and over should be comfortable walking on natural ground and following the guide. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring swimwear only if you would like the option to swim when permitted.
Transport, guided hiking and lunch are coordinated in one shared outing that respects the real seasonal conditions instead of promising a fixed waterfall experience.
