Join a small-group outing for a sandboarding session above the coast from Agadir. Atlantic coast and Atlas foothills scenery sit within an easy transfer of your hotel, with activity bases just beyond the main resort roads. You get about 5 hours of guided time with hotel pickup and return, which suits guests who prefer a hosted day over going it alone.
Transfer to the dune field includes board issue and a short tutorial before your first runs. Runs are on foot-up, ride-down sections, so a basic level of fitness helps more than snow experience. Late afternoon light often makes the best photos on the dune face. Foot-up, ride-down sections mean a basic fitness level helps more than any snow experience.
Coastal cave viewpoints break up the transfer before you reach the main dune sections. Return transfer brings you back to Agadir after the session on the sand. Conditions on the day shape the exact route rather than forcing a fixed timetable in poor weather.
Resort hotels in Agadir line the southern Atlantic coast between the marina and open beach. Inland you reach dune fields, Paradise Valley and quad bases within a short transfer from reception.
Hotel pickup covers the main Agadir resort belt, though traffic along the coastal road can stretch collection windows on busy mornings. Be ready a few minutes early at reception, eat breakfast before an early departure, and give your hotel name when you book so the driver finds the right gate.
Most guests need no prior experience. You should be comfortable following a guide and happy with the physical side of the activity.
Dress for sun and activity: comfortable clothes and sturdy footwear. Say any medical conditions or dietary needs when you confirm your place.
Included transfers mean you are not hunting taxis or marina timings on activity morning. Local guides know the tracks and trails they use through the season and adjust for heat and sand conditions.
Guides pick tracks and pacing based on the day rather than a rigid timetable. That flexibility helps you get the safest, most enjoyable session available.
We'll collect you from your Agadir hotel and take you to the start point. Be ready with the kit listed for this session and any voucher details. The crew talk through safety, timing and how the sandboarding will run before you head out.
The core of the day is guided sandboarding time in the Morocco scenery. Stay with your group, listen to the briefing and ask if you want a slower pace or extra help with kit. Listen to paddle commands, spacing advice or riding tips from your guide and stay with the group unless told otherwise.
Take a breather between active sections, drink water and check kit with your guide before continuing with the second part of the session. Your guide stays close throughout and can slow the pace if you want extra help with kit, spacing in the water or a quieter route on the trail.
After the last section you transfer back to your hotel in Agadir. The whole experience is about 5 hours door to door, so keep the rest of your schedule flexible. Gather your belongings, thank the crew and double-check you have towels, dry clothes and anything you left on the boat or at the base before you leave.
Yes. Collection from hotels in the Agadir area is part of this experience. Give your hotel name when you book so the driver can find the right gate, and be ready in the window you are given.
Build the whole 5-hour shape into your day rather than planning something tight immediately afterwards. Traffic along resort roads can slow the van.
No previous experience is required for this sandboarding. Your guide briefs you before you start and stays close while you try the activity.
Say if you are nervous or a weak swimmer so the crew can pace the session and offer flotation where it helps.
Light refreshments may be offered depending on the format. Carry water and a snack if you eat breakfast early.
Soft drinks beyond what is served may be extra. Bring cash if you want extras on the boat or at the base.
Practical kit is swimwear or comfortable clothes for the activity, sun protection and a towel. Closed shoes help on boats and in the desert.
A dry bag keeps phones off wet decks. Reef-safe sunscreen matters on long days in the Agadir sun. Ask when you book if you need a slower pace or extra briefing time on the day.
Activity equipment is provided for the session. Bring your own mask or riding boots only if you prefer gear you already know.
Fit helmets, life jackets or harnesses before you start so you are not adjusting them mid-session. Ask when you book if you need a slower pace or extra briefing time on the day.
This runs for groups from 1 to 15 people. Smaller groups mean more attention from your guide on the water or in the dunes.
Private formats keep the whole boat or vehicle to your party. Follow the guide's spacing in the water and on trails.
About 5 hours including collection and the main activity time. Keep the whole window free rather than squeezing other plans around it.
A late appearance at reception or the meeting point shortens time on the activity because the session leaves with the group.
Families are welcome when children are comfortable with the activity format. Infant seats may be available on transfers where listed.
Say ages when you book so the crew can plan seating, kit sizes and pacing on the water or in the desert.
This activity needs workable conditions. If wind, sea state or sand storms rule it out, the crew may reschedule or switch sites.
You will be told as early as they can once morning conditions are clear. Have a loose plan for the rest of the day.
Give your hotel name and a reachable phone number when you book. We'll confirm the pickup window or meeting pin closer to the day.
Notes are the place for dietary needs, ages, or a later pickup if you have an evening plan after the session.
