The seven UNESCO monument zones are Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Changu Narayan Temple.
A guide is not compulsory for every visitor, but a knowledgeable local guide can provide historical context, explain cultural traditions, and help organize visits to multiple attractions.
