Your adventure begins at 08:30 in Ardvonnie Car Park, Kingussie. After a brief introduction and safety briefing, we will set off to our starting point on the River Spey. Throughout the day, you'll paddle through various environments, from the rolling hills of the Cairngorms to the sheltered areas of the Caledonian Pine Forest.
Our experienced guides will provide expert instruction and ensure you make the most of the day. You'll have the chance to appreciate the natural beauty of the Strathspey region, enjoy peaceful stretches of water, and gain insight into the local ecosystem. We aim to return to Kingussie by 15:30, where we'll conclude the day with a debrief and discuss your experience.

This charming town is well-equipped with cafes for a pre-adventure bite, and the surrounding landscapes offer diverse natural beauty, enhancing your overall experience.
No previous canoeing experience is required, but participants should be comfortable with basic physical activity and capable of handling variable weather conditions.

You should be comfortable being active outdoors and prepared for varying weather conditions.
We monitor weather conditions closely and will notify you in advance if there are any changes or cancellations due to adverse weather.
In such cases, we will provide options for rescheduling or refunds.

There are local cafes in Kingussie if you wish to have breakfast before we start.
