Sail along one of the most rugged stretches of the Costa Brava, exploring Cap Norfeu’s secluded coves and the coastline around Cadaqués. This relaxed afternoon cruise combines quiet sailing, a swim and snorkelling stop, and close-up views of the coast from the water.
Depart from the Ginjolers dock in the centre of Roses and sail south along the Costa Brava coastline towards Cap Norfeu. The route follows a quieter section of coast, with pine-covered headlands and rocky inlets, and sailing is prioritised whenever conditions allow to keep the journey calm and steady.
The catamaran anchors in a sheltered cove such as Cala Canadell or El Racó de l’Home, depending on sea conditions. Here you’ll have time to swim in clear water, snorkel along the rocky edges, or relax on deck. Floating mats, snorkelling equipment, and swimming vests are available, and there is ample space both in the shade and on the bow nets for sunbathing.
After the swim stop, the cruise continues towards Cadaqués. The catamaran enters the bay and sails close to the shoreline, giving clear views of the town from the sea as it passes the anchored boats. The return journey follows the same coastline back to Roses, with the skipper adjusting the route if needed to suit weather and sea state.
Boarding and disembarkation usually take place at the Ginjolers dock in the centre of Roses, directly opposite Hotel Ramblamar. This is a central and easy-to-reach meeting point close to shops and restaurants.
No sailing experience is required. This excursion is suitable for families, couples, and groups who want to explore the Costa Brava coastline without committing to a full-day trip.
Guests should be comfortable spending several hours on a boat and entering the water via ladder. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, particularly during swimming and snorkelling.
This route focuses on quieter coves and coastal scenery that are difficult to access by land. The combination of a swim stop and a coastal pass by Cadaqués offers variety within a compact timeframe.
The experience is designed around space and comfort on board, with shaded seating, open deck areas, and wide bow nets. Sailing is prioritised when conditions allow, reusable cups are used on board, and the pace remains relaxed throughout the afternoon.
The excursion lasts approximately three and a half hours, departing at 15:30 and returning around 19:00.
Exact timings may vary slightly depending on sea conditions and routing.
