Try a rebreather dive and take your diving to the next level. This program is your gateway to understanding the basics of rebreather diving, offering either confined water and optional open water experiences. Rebreather diving offers a unique diving experience, distinct from traditional open-circuit diving. Rebreathers are efficient in gas usage, allowing for longer bottom times and reduced decompression obligations. They provide a silent diving experience, which often results in closer encounters with marine life.
The course is designed to acquaint you with rebreathers, focusing on essential skills like buoyancy control and basic drills in calm/confined water. You'll get to swim with a closed-circuit rebreather unit (CCR), learning about its operation and manual overrides, while monitoring the system effectively.
The course takes place at various suitable dive sites across East England, and inland sites like Stoney Cove. We also do the CCR Try Dives in swimming pools in multiple locations.
Age requirements are a minimum of 18 years. Divers should have Nitrox experience and have a medical, please get in touch if you are unsure.
This program is ideal for divers looking to step into the realm of rebreather diving. With expert instructors and a focus on safety, it offers a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical diving experience.
