Climb aboard one giant paddleboard with the rest of your group and try to stay upright together on the Guadalquivir. Balance, teamwork and a good sense of humour matter more than paddling experience on this session built for groups.
Everyone starts on land with a quick briefing on how to move together as a group before climbing onto the giant board as one. Getting everyone balanced at the same time is half the fun, and a few wobbles into the river are practically guaranteed early on.
Once the group finds a rhythm, your guide leads the way along a calm stretch of the Guadalquivir, with plenty of stops for photos and a break from paddling. It works just as well for a relaxed outing as it does for a proper team challenge.
Sessions launch from the Triana riverfront and head out onto a wide, sheltered stretch of the Guadalquivir with views back towards the Puente de Triana and the historic centre of Seville. The width and calm of the river give a giant board plenty of room to manoeuvre.
It is a popular route for groups looking for something different to do together in the city, since the size of the board makes it as much a shared challenge as it is a paddle.
No previous paddleboarding experience is needed and this session suits all levels, since the challenge is really about balance and teamwork rather than technique. A minimum group of 4 people is required to book, up to a maximum of 8 per board.
Guides are experienced at running group sessions and know how to get even the most nervous paddlers laughing and working together quickly. Equipment and approved life jackets are provided for the whole group, along with photos of the session.
Meet at Calle Betis 19, Sevilla 41010, on the Triana bank of the Guadalquivir.
The giant board takes a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 8 per session, so it works well for groups of friends, families or colleagues.
If your group is larger than 8, multiple boards can be booked to run alongside each other on the same session.
No experience is needed. The session is built around beginners and mixed-ability groups, with a briefing on land before anyone gets on the board.
Balance and teamwork matter far more than technique here, so nobody needs to have paddled before.
Your booking covers a qualified guide, the giant board and paddles for the whole group, and an approved ION life jacket for each person.
Activity photos and use of lockers and changing rooms are also included, and an invoice can be provided afterwards if needed.
Meet at Calle Betis 19 on the Triana riverfront, right beside the Guadalquivir in central Seville.
Full joining instructions are sent after booking. Try to arrive together as a group a few minutes early so everyone can be fitted with a life jacket at the same time.
Swimwear or comfortable clothing everyone is happy to get wet in is a good idea, along with flip-flops or water shoes.
Bring a towel and change of clothes each, since falling in as a group is part of the fun on a giant board.
The general minimum age for this activity is 3, with younger participants expected to be closely supervised by an accompanying adult.
If your group includes children, message via Adventuro Chat first so the team can confirm the best setup for everyone.
River conditions and safety always come first, and sessions can be adjusted or rescheduled if a session cannot run safely.
If the forecast looks uncertain ahead of your booking, message via Adventuro Chat and the team can advise before your group travels in.
Yes, the Big SUP is a popular choice for stag and hen groups thanks to the teamwork, laughs and inevitable splashes involved.
If you specifically want a themed celebration session, a dedicated hen and stag listing is also available separately.
Live availability, pricing and checkout run through FareHarbor once your group selects a date and time.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours ahead receive an 80% refund, with the remaining 20% covering admin costs. Within 48 hours there is no refund, though Booking Protection bought on the centre website carries its own 24-hour full-refund terms.
Transport is not part of this booking, so your group will need to make its own way to the Triana riverfront meeting point.
Street parking nearby can be limited for larger groups, so allow extra time or consider arriving by taxi.
