Yes, we partner with local bike hire shops where you can rent a mountain bike and any necessary equipment. Please let us know in advance if you need to arrange a rental, and we’ll assist with the details.
The Scottish Highlands are known for their unpredictable weather. We encourage participants to come prepared with appropriate clothing for rain and wind. Tours generally run regardless of the weather, but in the case of severe conditions that could compromise safety, we may reschedule or offer an alternative route.
Meeting locations are typically near the trailheads in Fort William, Kinlochleven, or Glencoe. Once you book your tour, we’ll provide detailed directions and agree on a convenient meeting point via email. We’re flexible and aim to meet at the most suitable location for all participants.
Lunch is not provided, but your guide will recommend the best local spots to grab a meal. We suggest bringing snacks and water to keep you fuelled throughout the day.
You’ll be riding on a mix of single-track trails and paths, ranging from gentle slopes to more challenging sections with varied terrain. While the tour is beginner-friendly, it includes some steeper and diverse features to help you develop your skills and enjoy a taste of more advanced mountain biking.
A typical day starts at 9:00 AM and lasts around 8 hours, including breaks. We aim to begin riding by 9:30 AM, with plenty of time allocated for setting up bikes and gear, as well as enjoying the trails and scenery.
The standard group size is between 1-4 people, ensuring a personalised experience with plenty of attention from your guide. We also offer tours for groups of 5-8 people at an adjusted price. There is also an option to plan a private 1:1 session.
