After one of the best ways to see Bali's landscapes beyond the beaches? This full-day adventure combines two popular outdoor activities, taking you from jungle-lined river rapids to muddy countryside trails. With lunch, equipment, guides, and transfers included, it's an easy way to fit plenty into a single day.
The day begins with collection from your accommodation before heading towards the rafting base in the lush surroundings of the Ayung River. Following a safety briefing and equipment fitting, you'll make your way onto the water to navigate a route that passes jungle scenery, hidden waterfalls, carved river walls, and sections of exciting rapids. Along the journey there are opportunities to pause, take in the surroundings, and cool off in the river.
Once back on dry land, shower and changing facilities are available before sitting down for a buffet lunch overlooking the tropical landscape. This break provides time to relax before continuing with the second part of the adventure.
Next, swap paddles for engines as you take to the trails on a quad bike. Routes wind through rice fields, bamboo forests, riverside tracks, and traditional villages, offering a different perspective of Bali away from the main tourist areas. Expect muddy sections, varied terrain, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the countryside whether riding solo or sharing a tandem quad.
Set within Bali's green interior, the activities take place close to Ubud, an area known for its river valleys, rice terraces, forests, and traditional communities. The combination of water and off-road terrain makes it an ideal setting for outdoor adventures while still being easily accessible from many of the island's most popular resorts.
Pickup and drop-off services are available from a wide range of locations including Seminyak, Canggu, Legian, Kuta, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Sanur, Ubud, Kerobokan, Pererenan, Mengwi, Denpasar, Gianyar, Tegallalang, Pejeng, and Tanjung Benoa, allowing guests to join the experience without arranging additional transport.
No previous experience is needed for either activity. Instruction is provided before both the rafting and quad biking sessions, making the adventure suitable for beginners as well as those who have tried similar activities before. Children aged 5–11 must ride as passengers on tandem quad bikes with an accompanying adult, while solo quad bike riders must be at least 12 years old.
Since 2013, the focus has been on creating well-organised experiences that allow visitors to enjoy Bali without feeling rushed from one attraction to the next. Rather than filling the day with unnecessary stops, attention is placed on combining quality activities, knowledgeable local guides, and reliable service.
Every part of the journey is planned to be straightforward and enjoyable, from hotel pickup through to the final drop-off. By handling the logistics, guests can focus on making the most of their time outdoors and enjoying a different side of Bali.
