The day begins with private pickup from San Jose and a drive through rural landscapes towards the Arenal Volcano region. On arrival at a private biological reserve, you’ll be matched with a horse suited to your level before setting off on a guided ride through rainforest trails. The route moves at a steady pace, passing through protected forest areas with opportunities to take in views of the volcano when conditions allow.
After the ride, you continue by private transfer to the hot springs area where lunch is served on arrival. Once finished, you have free time to enjoy the thermal pools, which are spread across landscaped gardens with different temperatures and settings. Later in the afternoon, the return journey to San Jose begins, with time to relax during the drive back.
