This eight-day multisport adventure offers a varied way to explore the Galapagos Islands, combining guided excursions with time to explore independently. Moving between islands, the itinerary blends water-based activities with land exploration, giving you a broad view of the archipelago’s unique environments.
With a mix of snorkelling, biking, kayaking, and hiking, each day brings a different setting and pace. You’ll encounter wildlife both above and below the water while travelling through some of the most well-known and lesser-visited areas of the islands. The balance of guided tours and free time allows for both structure and flexibility throughout the trip.
Each itinerary is carefully planned to combine multiple islands and activities into one smooth experience. By mixing guided day tours with independent exploration, the trip allows you to enjoy expert-led experiences while also having time to explore at your own pace. Local guides bring knowledge of the islands, helping you get more out of each location.
A strong focus is placed on responsible travel, ensuring that experiences support conservation and local communities. By working with local guides and providers, the journey remains personal while contributing positively to the environment and the people who live there.

On arrival at San Cristobal Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. After settling in, the afternoon is free to explore at your own pace, with the option to visit La Loberia.
This coastal area is known for its beach and resident sea lions, offering a relaxed introduction to the islands. It’s a chance to ease into the trip while getting your first glimpse of the local wildlife.

Today focuses on one of the most well-known snorkelling sites in the Galapagos. Travelling by boat to Kicker Rock, you’ll enter waters where sharks, rays, turtles, and a wide range of fish can be seen.
After snorkelling, you’ll visit a nearby beach where you can walk along the shore or relax before heading back. A packed lunch is provided during the excursion, making it a full day out on the water.

The morning begins with a choice between kayaking or paddleboarding along the coast. Calm waters make it easier to move quietly, increasing your chances of spotting wildlife close by.
Later in the day, you’ll transfer by speedboat to Santa Cruz Island. The journey offers a different perspective of the islands before arriving in Puerto Ayora, where you’ll spend the next part of your trip.

Today’s destination depends on park regulations, with visits to either Santa Fe or Pinzon Island. Both options offer clear waters for snorkelling and strong chances of seeing marine life such as sea lions, turtles, and fish.
There may also be time to explore nearby beaches, with wet landings requiring you to step directly into shallow water. The day combines time in the water with opportunities to relax along the coast.

You’ll begin the day by heading into the highlands of Santa Cruz, where giant tortoises can often be seen in their natural habitat. From here, you’ll continue by bike to Cerro Mesa, a crater surrounded by lush vegetation.
After exploring the area, the route continues downhill towards Garrapatero Beach. Here, you can take a break, enjoy the coastline, and swim before cycling back.

An early departure takes you by speedboat to Isabela Island. After arrival and hotel transfer, you’ll set out to explore the wetlands area, which includes lagoons, trails, and viewpoints.
Later in the day, you’ll head out on the water again for a kayaking session along the coast. This quieter activity allows you to observe wildlife while moving at a relaxed pace.

A boat trip takes you to Los Tuneles, an area known for its unique lava formations and calm waters. Walking through the area provides a chance to see birds and coastal wildlife before entering the water.
Snorkelling here offers clear views of marine life, including turtles, fish, and other species that thrive in the sheltered environment. After the excursion, you’ll return to Isabela for your final evening.

The final day begins early with a speedboat journey back to Santa Cruz. From there, you’ll travel across the island and continue to Baltra Airport.
This marks the end of your multisport experience, with time to reflect on the variety of landscapes and activities covered throughout the trip.
Accommodation is provided across all three islands, with stays in hotels offering single, double, or triple rooms depending on your booking. Each room includes a private bathroom, providing comfort and convenience throughout the trip.
Hotels are selected based on location, allowing easy access to activity starting points and nearby town areas. This makes it simple to explore independently during free time while still enjoying a comfortable base each night.
This experience is designed to keep you active most days, with a mix of water and land-based activities. While the pace varies, you can expect regular movement through snorkelling, biking, kayaking, and walking.
The itinerary also includes some free time, allowing you to rest or explore at your own pace. This balance makes it suitable for those who enjoy staying active without feeling rushed.
No previous experience is required for most activities. Snorkelling takes place in guided environments, and equipment is provided to help you feel comfortable in the water.
Kayaking and paddleboarding are also accessible for beginners, with calm areas chosen where possible. Guides are available to assist and provide instructions as needed.
The Galapagos Islands are home to a wide range of species, many of which can be seen during this trip. You may encounter sea lions, turtles, marine iguanas, and a variety of fish.
Snorkelling and kayaking provide closer encounters with marine life, while land activities offer opportunities to see birds and giant tortoises in their natural habitats.
Transfers are done using public speedboats, which can vary depending on sea conditions. Some journeys may feel rough or wet, so it’s important to be prepared.
Bringing a waterproof jacket and motion sickness tablets is recommended. Despite this, the transfers are a standard and efficient way to travel between islands.
Packing for warm weather is essential, with lightweight clothing and swimwear needed for most days. Comfortable shoes are important for walking and biking activities.
You should also bring sun protection, a waterproof jacket, and a small bag for daily use. Keeping your packing light will make island transfers easier.
The variety of activities makes it appealing for families, especially those who enjoy outdoor experiences. Wildlife encounters are often a highlight for younger travellers.
However, the travel between islands and active schedule should be considered. Families should ensure the itinerary suits their comfort level and pace preferences.
Accommodation is comfortable and practical, offering private rooms with bathrooms. Locations are chosen for convenience and easy access to activities.
While not luxury-focused, the hotels provide a good base for the trip. Staying in different locations also gives you a better sense of each island.
