Course Breakdown
Beginner Paramotor Course
This course is designed for complete beginners or paraglider pilots with fewer than 20 hours of experience. The aim is to complete at least one solo flight by the end of the course.
Training includes:
- Ground handling – Learning to control the wing before adding the motor
- Motor usage training – Safe handling, starting, and stopping the paramotor
- Basic theory – Understanding meteorology, air law, and flight planning
- Solo flight preparation – Leading to at least one solo flight under instructor guidance
Intermediate Paramotor Course
Designed for students who have already completed at least one solo paramotor flight or paraglider pilots with over 20 hours of experience, this course focuses on refining skills and achieving pilot certification.
Training includes:
- Multiple solo flights – Building confidence with take-offs and landings
- Low-level flying and precision landings
- Cross-country navigation exercises
- Advanced theory – Covering air law, meteorology, navigation, and safety
- Pilot exam – Completing 15 solo flights, logging 3+ hours, and passing the APPI PPG Pilot License test
Once qualified, pilots can fly independently and take out insurance with AXA.

Accommodation & Food
Accommodation and food are not included in the course fee. However, there is the option to book into our on-site accommodation. We offer private single rooms in shared, self-catered bungalows with air conditioning. You can check in after 3pm on Sunday, and check-out by 10am the following Sunday.
